I replaced the front struts and had no problems, so I ordered the back. Now that all 4 wheels are done, the ride is very stiff but very responsive too. I'm sure the fronts has most to do with that. Very stiff and tight ride but also dampens any secondary shock immediately. They do what they are designed to do with no problems if you don't mind the stiff feel. They fit perfectly with no problems installing. No noise or squeaks.

Review of Detroit Axle - Front Strut Sway Bar kits for 1996-2007 Ford Taurus 96-05 Mercury Sable Complete 2 Struts w/Coil Spring 2 Front Sway Bar Links 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 Replacement Ready Struts Assembly @ $149.24 at time of purchase. I bought this to use on my 2002 Ford Taurus that had a front strut going bad. I liked that the coil springs were already installed, and these came with sway bars. I had a mechanic install these for me and he told me that it is less expensive and easier to already have the coil springs on the struts. I found the part to be more than I wanted to pay, but this was the most reasonable price I found and for a product brand that has a positive reputation. Plus, it is made in the USA! These seem like well made OEM replacement parts that should last me a long time. I left it boxed when I took it to him, so I did not take photos. The parts are as portrayed. Hopefully this helps someone decide about this product.

Bought the struts and sway bar links together , and they came in good time and packaged well. The struts went on like a dream But the sway bar links Seem to give me a little bit of a fit but I did get them installed. In the first week noticed a knock come back in the front end and had planned to look at it again the following weekend but that week my wife who drives this vehicle said it was now making a louder clicking noise. So when the weekend came around I took the wheel off only to see the link dangling no bolt and threads stripped. Needing to get the car back rolling, I went to the auto parts store and bought new ones,almost bought one but I had lost faith, so I got both. While installing those new one I could see that these were noticeable shorter, plus the new ones went on with ease,took a measurement and the pair that failed was 3/4 inch longer. Don't know if this is what caused them to fail or if it was just a fluke,but has been a few weeks and no problem. Both struts and links felt like solid parts but just match up with old before installing.

Already had to replace. Very poor assembly done ... An trying to have replacement done with the warranty trash got pay for all shipping cost and provide return shipping package and the cost as well would not recommend get what you pay for warranty and all ..
