Willow Tree Chrysalis, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer, and during her final days in hospice, my aunt was there every step of the way, providing comfort and support for both my mom and me. To show my appreciation and gratitude, I decided to gift her the Willow Tree Chrysalis figurine. The message of "Protect and cherish; give wings to fly" really resonated with me, as my mom always felt like she was my aunt's protector, but in the end, the roles reversed, and my aunt became my mom's protector. When I gave her the figurine, my aunt was moved to tears - she loved it! The figurine is beautifully crafted, and the sentiment behind it is so touching. I highly recommend the Willow Tree Chrysalis figurine as a meaningful gift for anyone who needs a reminder of the love and support that surrounds them during difficult times.

Every year for many years, I’ve bought my mother a Willow Tree ornament or sculptured figure for Christmas. They’re usually angels and have the year on them. She really loves angel figurines, and the piano is covered in them! :) This year, the ornament just looked weird to me. But I saw this, and it reminded me of the relationship we have had—it was two adults, and I just immediately thought of her when I saw it. All we’ve been through and how much I love her. She finally got to have a surgery she’s needed for a LONG time, and I bought this while she was still in the hospital. It’s so much more beautiful in person! Very heavy, though. She had a horrible time after her surgery, and another one was done. I gave her some of her gifts before Christmas, like a super soft blanket, since she was always cold and didn’t have one that was thick. And I gave her this…which she loved! She went on and on about how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, she died on January 6, but I am so happy that she and I enjoyed some time together, and something I got her helped take her mind off of the pain she had. I’m going to keep it in my bedroom and think of her.

This was for my only sister left and it signified being sisters and also the emotion of I'm there for you. It was double duty. Love as a sister and comfort for her loss of her husband of 57 years.

I bought this for my mother-in-law as a gift for her birthday. It came in a timely manner and was in perfect condition. My mother-in-law loved it and thought it was funny that it looked like me hugging her (our hair matches the figures).

Idk if reviews are needed for Willow products because they have so much meaning without words. To maybe help others… my wife lost her mom in June of 2023 from breast cancer. My mother in law was an amazing women that words cannot even describe. She was able to always be the best at everything and make everyone around her smile and feel comfort. When we started to have kids she became “Gramsie” and throughout all her battles with her sickness she was always there and always loving for them. With my mother in law not physically with us anymore but seeing my daughter point at this and saying mama/ gramsie next to our nightstand… again words cannot describe the feelings. Thank you for this product.
