These masks are class 1 medical devices, and can be used for healthcare use, but should not be used in surgical or high risk situations, or where there is a high risk of contact with liquids or infectious materials.

Not quite up to par
So - I'm not very happy with these. Having just used up my last of pre-pandemic mask stock, I figured a mask-was-a-mask. Turns out there's more to be concerned with even though they all look alike. This order has a rather thin nose-bridge metal support, and it doesn't stay in place. The metal also slides out of center and it's too flimsy to do the job. I gave them two stars because the three layers of fabric does block air movement enough to do the job, but the materials are so stiff they don't form around the face well enough for a good seal. Finally - they smell funky. Like the plastic in the fabric is still off-gassing or something. Bottom line: I won't by this brand again.

Comes in a dispense one at a time box to keep the rest clean, not outrageously priced
The real issue I have with these is that they are almost exactly like, but not quite as sturdy as the non-sterile procedure masks I bought 2 years ago. The ones I previously purchased for cleaning toilets, ect. were between twelve and sixteen cents each depending on the sale price. These masks are forty cents each with the current retail price. I realize with the current pandemic places that weren't making masks before have had to gear up to make them, but still that mark up seems a little high to me.Still these aren't nearly as horrifically high priced as others I've seen, and these do have advantages others don't.These come in a pull out box. Which means you only touch the one you're pulling out and now the entire stack of masks. For that alone these get 4 stars. The ear loops are a bit bigger than some, nice and stretchy, but also flimsy. Still, so far they haven't pulled away from the mask. The face mask part seems averaged sized. It fits everyone fine except my bearded one. We've only found one generic disposable that's big enough for his jaw and beard. The material isn't as soft as some we've tried, but it didn't irritate anyone either, so it should be fine. The nose band is a bit thinner and flimsier than expected, but for a one time (or two time) use mask they're good enough. If you can get away with masks without the bendable nose band, I'd recommend homemade cloth ones even if you have to pay five to ten bucks each. It'll save you a ton of money in the long run. They can be washed and reused for a really long time, and won't harm the environment like these are going to.Still, if you're desperate, can't sew to make your own, and definitely need the bendable nose band because you wear glasses, then yes I'd recommend these. The price isn't as horrific as some I've seen, and if you need to reuse them you likely can without them falling apart. If anything changes as we use these more, I'll be sure to update my review.

Fit well, great to have
With covid, were all need to be wearing face masks when out and about. And if you are like me, it's not an easy thing to remember to take along! These are going in the car, so they will always be available. While I have cloth masks, I do often forget to bring them with me when leaving the house. These are exactly as expected. Just like what you would see at a doctor's office or hospital. The pleats allow mask to fit snugly on your face...too be honest to tight for me to be comfortable if I had to wear this for looking periods of time..just the nature of the beast. Nothing wrong with the masks. These masks also can be folded up and stored in a wallet out purse to have on hand.Very happy with this box of masks and recommend that everyone have some on hand.Stay heathy!

Comfortable, good price. Nose-bridge wire is really thin.
I have a few brands of single-use masks. I keep some in each car and one box in the garage. Anyway, there are differences between makes. For example, the ear-loops are attached to the inside of the mask - this means that the ends stick further out from your face. The 3M are on the outside of the mask so press the outer edge against your face. The nose bridge with is THIN. It *just* holds it's shape. On the brand-name masks it's about 5x thicker. The advantage to a heavier wire is a quicker and better fit. The 3M is also a lot softer - it feels like cloth. This feels like synthetic. But these are designed as single use, disposable masks and are supposed to be disposed off after every use - once it comes off you toss it. Unless you're wearing one for several hours, you won't notice the difference.

better than most non-medical-quality disposable face masks sold on Amazon
Over the past couple of months, we've ordered a few boxes of non-medical-quality disposable face masks from Amazon. This box is the best of the bunch. While all of the different brands have similar 3-layer construction with thin outer layers and an inner filter layer, this brand is noticeably better with the other construction details. The nose wire feels a little thicker and more comfortable. The straps are glued on more securely so we never have a problem with them breaking off. Most importantly, the masks are packaged in a box with the straps tucked under the masks, so you can easily remove the masks individually without touching the mask underneath. Most masks are packaged in plastic bags with all the straps sticking out at the sides so if you grab one by the strap, you can't help touch the straps of a few others. If you're trying to be sanitary, touching more than 1 mask is a big no-no.Price of these masks is several times higher than they were last year, which I really do not like, but at least they are not charging $1 per mask like some of the other brands.

Very lightweight
I've been wearing cloth masks since COVID19 came along. I'd forgotten how different paper masks feel and fit. These are pretty thin and comfortable to wear. I did not have any trouble with the elastics but I could see them coming loose if you're trying to wear 1 mask for a full day or even many days. The elastics are soft and comfortable on my ears. The nose wire is also thin but conforms well and is comfortable. Fogging was minimal on my glasses.I dont think you could mistake these for actual surgical masks but they will certainly serve the current purpose. The price is listed at ~ $0.56 a mask which is more expensive than these would have been a year ago but more reasonable than many others I've seen lately.
