AIHG Multipurpose Double Head Sheet Nibbler Metal Cutter Hole Saw Drill Attachment Tool for Car Repairing and Maintenance and Metal Sheet Cutting

I have had a couple of these over the years but this one wouldn't cut I was trying to cut out a window opening on a van I removed cutting bar and replace it with a new replacement one I had from last nibbler I had and only then did it cut but then kept getting clogged up last ones I've owened I have cut out windows easy as without any issues after I cut one small back window opening out i gave up until ordered I different one

Used with a cordless drill on 1000/32B profile steel sheet, cutting 14ft lengths in half. Worked a treat. Cutting speed is pretty much governed by the speed of the drill. Leaves lots of small cuttings which are best contained as they'll be there forever if outdoors on soil for example, but perfectly manageable indoors as they fall nearby and generally in one direction. Cuttings didn't fly around presenting an eye hazard in my experience.Easily directable and controllable and leaves a good pair of cut edges, removing about 4mm of material width for the cut.No visible or performance deterioration signs of wear after 4m of cutting across trapezoidal corrugations.For the price paid these are a great tool.

It’s easy to use when it works. I managed to do a 20cm cut but then the problems started. It would constantly jam. I would have to dismantle the nibbler, clean it out and do another cut. But after less than 1 inch of cutting it would jam again. The tool that is provided for dismantling the nibbler is made of very soft metal and soon rounded so I had to use my own Allan key to disassemble & reassemble the nibbler. It took over an hour to cut about 1ft of SS metal. I gave up with the nibbler and in the end and used a saw to finish my cut.

I bought this to cut sheet aluminium of 1.5mm thickness.At first it chomped through quite well, but does tend to get clogged.Then it became impossible to steer, both cutter heads rotating of their own free will instead of being rigidly fixed.It was impossible to use and either needs opening up to see why it's gone loose or replacing.This should not happen to a brand new tool; it couldn't cut more than two feet before failing.Don't waste your money.

Simply put, the item I received looked good but couldn't cut anything. Returned and ordered from another brand that worked correctly.

Couldn't cut 1mm sheet metal, tried paper card, couldn't cut that either. Returned for refund.

Fine for roughing out but leaves lots of finishing.Doesn't distort thin sheet.Found it hard to follow a line.
