Excellent customer service, Product equipped with timely and effective customer support
I've owned an Air-water-life ionizing water machine since July of 2018 and I've had great experience with the Aqua Beauty 5.0 water system, which I believe is their cheapest and most economical model. I wanted something affordable while at the same time being effective -- an I wanted it for the purposes of producing great tasting alkaline water which my mother-in-law turned me on to after her $3000 purchase of a Korean brand alkaline water machine. I was skeptical of alkaline water at first, and I condemned the purchase given the great expense! After having her water when visiting her home in Sacramento and experiencing the hydration, smoother "flatter" taste, and overall sense of well-being associated with being able to drink more water, I was hooked. The Aqua Beauty 5.0 machine seemed to be a nice compromise between cost and purpose. So I went for it and didn't look back from there. The machine seemed to output great tasting water for several years, the pH tested very well in the beginning when I bought the unit, and then, maybe 6 months back, the taste had gone worse despite me replacing the filter, and upon checking the pH, I observed that it was not changing after traversing the machine! The pH at the outlet of the machine and at the outlet of the ionizer (where acid water is expected to drain) was exactly the same and was in agreement with the source water (~6.5-7 using the more highly sensitive pH indicator droplets). I did confirm the readings with two different pH test solutions, where one was less accurate (didn't exhibit as much color change as the other) but the relative difference again was none, which told me that something wasn't right with the machines operation! I immediately reached out to Mason Hendrix at Air-water-life, and he was extremely supportive of my inquiry. He offered to have me send back the unit to him free of charge (just pay the shipping) and he would ensure that I was provided promptly with a working unit. And that's exactly what he did! I sent the unit in via FedEx and got another unit (still the same model, or a very slightly different model from the one I originally had bought) within days. Upon receiving it, I was surprised to receive an extra descaling kit, new pH testing kit, replacement filter, new water tubing , new faucet fixture, and a new instruction manual! I used the pH test kit to confirm that the unit was working effectively - it is now producing alkaline water at high levels (7-10) depending on the setting, and it is generating acid water at the outlet (4-5) which confirms for me that it works! (I also verified using my other pH testing solution). I'm very happy again with the taste of my water now, and I'm still the proud owner of an affordable and excellent machine that I hope will continue to output great tasting alkaline water for years to come! Even if that's not the case though, I'm happy to know that Air-water-life is just an email or a phone call away to assist me with getting my machine up and working again. **Small Update on 07/13/20** I added a few images of my Alkaline machine setup so people can get an idea of how I installed this. I opted for the simplest solution, no mounting of the unit underneath the sink or onto the wall -- instead I used the simple faucet flow diverting faucet fixture that came with it and hooked up the flow inlet and outlet tubing (where outlet is indicated by a small red dot sticker). Also, for my latest install, I put in an in-Line Aqua Crest Refrigerator Filter -- available on Amazon Model AQ5KDC -- the nice thing is that the tubing hooks up straight-away to it without any fittings whatsoever at the inlet and outlet of the filter. I found from PPM testing that the Alkaline machine equipped with it's own in-line carbon filter did not reduce the PPM from the source water -- and I was told by Air-water-life that I should not expect that by the design of the unit. Before installing the Aqua Crest on the inlet to the machine I got ~215 PPM source water and the same coming out of the Ionizer. After installing the Aqua Crest I am getting ~ 20-50 PPM out of the Ionizer now! (still in the 200's from the source water). Mind you this is a carbon filter similar in construction to the one installed in the Ionizer but much larger and more efficient (should last approx. 1 year under normal use). With this filter you also have the option of installing it underneath the sink if you buy it with the hoses included (assuming you have standard fittings/connections. With this setup I am getting Excellent tasting water and very effective Alkalizing which I continue to test periodically using the pH drops.

Just as good as the $5K machine.
Does the job! I’ve been getting my Kangen water from my brother for the past 5 years. I can’t afford a $5K water machine. So did some research and my husband came up with this one. I am so impressed! Does everything the 5 thousand dollar one does. Great machine, all the same water levels. I’m love having this machine. Very easy to connect and easy to use.

Alkaline Water = No joint inflammation and quicker workout recovery
My wife and I ordered one of these in January 2017. We've been using it religiously ever since. We've also told other friends about our alkaline water and have allowed others to try it. So far everyone has loved it. One of my best friends has really bad knees and has constant achiness in his joints and he's 44. I gave him a couple of gallons of our alkaline water and it keeps coming back because he says he feels like he's 20 again. I'm also 44 and have experienced similar results. I'm very active and recently started working out hardcore again (after taking off about 5 years). What I've noticed is I do not get any muscle soreness as long as I drink a 16oz glass of alkaline water in the morning, during my workout, and before I go to bed. I also have two reconstructed knees (due to ACL surgeries in both my right and left knees), but do NOT experience any swelling or joint pain after running during or after my workout (as I'm drinking my alkaline water). I also have a gluten allergy where anytime I eat gluten my body aches and this pain will last around 24 hours. My pain levels can sometimes reach a level 8 or 9 out of 10. However, since drinking alkaline water these pains have gone away completely and that hasn't happened since developing this allergy to gluten about 10 years ago. I love this machine, it is the first time in 10 years I've been pain free in my body and I'm back to be active extremely again. Pros 1) anti-inflammatory benefits (joints feel great) 2) more oxygen in your blood (more stamina for longer workouts) 3) gluten allergy blocking (my pain has gone away) 4) cancer preventative - I don't know if this is true, but I've been told that anyone who has cancer, their blood will test out with an acidity level. I've also been told cancer cannot grow in an alkaline environment. Therefore, it makes sense that drinking alkaline water helps prevent cancer because the human body is mostly made up of water. Cons 1) it's a large investment amount 2) alkaline filter is pricey, but only needs to be changed yearly 3) machine will need to be descaled either monthly, quarterly, or twice a year depending on your water hardness or softness UPDATE: We clean it and replace the filters periodically, but after the first 6 months of getting a 9.5 pH, we've been stuck at 8.5 pH even on the highest setting. Not sure what else to do to get us back to a 9.5 pH.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT OR MANUFACTURER (REAL SPIRIT)
I called Real Spirit (the manufacturer) when I was going to install this ionizer. With their help on the phone, I installed this product. I even asked them if any other filtration or anything was needed because their brochure stated that there is a filter with minerals if we want to connect it to the river osmosis water supply, I stated no, I didn't need the minerals, so they told me that I could install the ionizer as it was, with the filter that already came with it (so no additional filter needed and it would have "no problem"). A month and a half later, the water from the ionizer began to smell. I contacted Amazon support, but was redirected to Real Spirit. For three weeks (now I'm on the fourth), there was a back and forth of me being tossed around between Amazon and Real Spirit. During my second call with Real Spirit, a customer service rep named Mason told me how he'd been working there for 6 years and many customers have had and were having this same issue. He stated how a pre-filtration was needed for this product and that he could provide me a discount on it--to me it seemed like a business maneuver to have aggrieved customers purchase this additional item. Let me repeat, that I asked during installation if anything else was needed and they stated there was not. This ionizer is already $750. Then there's--what's supposed to be--the yearly purchase of a filter, which is over $60. Now Mason from Real Spirit was telling me pre-filtration was needed, when I had already asked during installation if any other filter was required. Again, this entire issue of the smelly water and the missing information is apparently a common and long lasting issue with this company and product. When I spoke to Amazon for the nth time, they stated that Real Spirit was breaking their contract by stating Amazon was responsible for the product (even though the supposed Amazon month return policy had expired). So apparently Real Spirit wasn't even staying true to their contract with Amazon. Again I was sent back and forth, when I sent another email to Real Spirit about this issue, stating that Amazon said they could only provide my refund and return if Real Spirit authorizes it. I asked them to authorize said refund and return, since this common issue and faulty product is their responsibility. I received no reply even after three days of waiting, so I called Real Spirit today (06.24.2022) wondering what was going on. The moment I told them the issue, the man on the phone seemed to know who I was and cut me off to tell me that my request was rejected. When I tried to explain more and have them reconsider, he flat out just kept repeating that it was rejected. He had a horrible attitude just like Mason did--which I assume is from dealing with many angry customers--but I unfortunately forgot to ask for his name. As I kept trying to speak to him, he kept cutting me off, so I also cut him off because I was trying to finish what I was previously saying. This man then attempted to gaslight me by stating I needed to stop cutting him off and let him speak. He attempted to turn things around on me and on Amazon. This man told me that this was Amazon's product, so nothing was on them, Real Spirit. As I pushed, he stated that a warranty could possibly be provided if we sent back the item and if any damage was detected. If there was damage, then I could get a replacement, if there was none, then I would not. First off, why would I want a replacement for a common issue with this company and product? Second, this is a common issue that many of their costumers have! Why shouldn't their customer service provide the service they owe consumers? When I asked him for Real Spirit's address, since I would take this to court, he hung up on me. This is a $750 product. This isn't cheap, especially for something that doesn't function as it should or as a product of a company that did not provide us consumers all the information we needed (the supposed pre-filtration). Real Spirit is a company I will never purchase anything from ever again. I have never had issues with my return and refunds on Amazon, though I have also never purchased something this pricey here before. I am so frustrated and upset, and am hoping this issue will be resolved, which means me acquiring my return and refund. Hopefully, Amazon also stops business with this unprofessional company. Please stay away from this product and company. Look elsewhere where the products do not have 'common' customer grievances, do not have rude customer service reps, and do not have you needing to purchase additional expensive items for their already expensive products. I would give 0 stars out of 5. Edit: Amazon got back to me later today, stating that they would issue my refund. I'm grateful that they are helping out when Real Spirit has been an absolute nightmare. I hope Amazon does not work with this company any longer, as they may tarnish their reputation and cause other Amazon customers to suffer like I did.

Excellent, Quiet, Tested and Works
Love it so far. They even send you a ph testing drops kit! So don’t buy one like we did. ;-) We’ve had our water alkalizer ionizer for about 4 days and it takes great and clearly works as advertised. Was easy to install ~ just wet the tips of the white tubes and they’ll slide onto the tap inputs better. Takes a bit of oomph, but worked by hand. It’s very quiet ~ basically silent except it beeps at the start and lights up to tell you it’s working. Also beeps and flashes red when doing acidic water I think as a precaution, so that’s helpful. Do wait a few moments until it says Alkaline Water, or you’ll get the last bit of the acidic cleaning water it creates after each use to keep it clean. I wish it didn’t have to waste water that way, but I just put the tap over any dishes that need soaking and use the runoff. ;-) We can tell the company is very thorough with their care and thoughtfulness. Instructions are clear and it’s very simple. Love that it doesn’t take up much room on the faucet and was smaller than we’d thought it would be. Worth it! Blessings to all~<3

Would recommend this to anyone. If you want to spend a little more, the 7 is an excellent deal also.
After a mouth of using this unit, and doing many tests, I was able to maintain a pH of 9.5 and an ORP ( oxidation reduction potential ) from between 600 and 730. For those of you that are not familiar with the ORP, it is your anti-oxidant. This is the main reason these machines are sold. Regardless what brand you buy the PH will give you 9.5 which is, as a rule, the ideal PH for drinking. The PH holds a 2nd to the ORP. The ORP breaks the water molecules in a cluster from 15 to 5-6. Which means the water you drink will be absorbed into your body and cells at a much high rate and in places where plain water has a hard time getting to. So ORP is Paramount in buying a ionizer machine, not PH. There is a machine out there which is the forerunner in the industry called Kangen, which I tried for 30 days. PH of 9.5 and an ORP of 820 with a price tag of $3900. Sure it gave me 100 more ORP but to save $3400 to loose 100 ORP, I thought was well worth it. There are dozens of machines that cost from $900 to $6000 that will give you little more than the Air, Water and Life. One last comment, had arthritis in my neck going into my arms, had a hard time sleeping due to this. In 30 days I have been able to see a drastic change. Tech support Is incredible, they have 2 people that answer calls, Mason and David. Talked to both and was very impressed with there knowledge and being willing to take the time to work with you. You won't get a recording or a busy signal like large companies. Even sent me a free mineral filter that adds Minerals to your system. Last week I called and asked them where I can buy more of the PH checker. They said don't worry, we'll take care of you. Got it in the mail yesterday. Didn't charge Me. Going to find that at a large company?, I doubt it... customer service is great, I talked to Mason and David very knowledgeable and polite..

Unit works great to achieve alkaline water
I used this unit for a month, the system quit working on me. I contact the manufacturer; they send me replacement the next day and received it within couple of days. I thought it was a great unit for the money spent. Alkaline pH was around 9.6 consistently. Water doesn't taste bad. I didn't give it higher rating because system failed on me the first month. Let see how long the replacement last.
