Good string cleaner but not the best. But does a really good job.

Works really well! We cleaned our acoustic guitar stings and fretboard at the same time and didn’t have to remove the strings. We put some guitar string cleaner on the inside and lemon oil fretboard cleaner on the bottom side (bought Devisor Guitar Cleaning All In One Kit). Afterwards, we just washed it with a mild detergent and let it air dry. Guitars look new!

Item is good, however it’s thick so putting it under and over the strings at the same time puts stress on the strings. If it were thinner it would be perfect

While gigging I use a MusicNomad String Fuel string cleaner on my basses in between sets. More often on summer outdoor gigs. However, the Saphue string cleaner is really nice for cleaning stings thoroughly at home. Very easy to use and man you should see the gunk that comes from cleaning the top AND underside of each string as well as the fretboard! For live gig use this cleaner may be just a bit messier and time consuming than you need in a quick clean situation. (Pro/Cheapo Tip: Instead of paying for fluid refills I just spray a little WD40 on the pad and go. I've used WD40 for decades now and It works very well to help maintain consistent tone and sound.)

"Does what it says on the tin." Cleans guitar strings well, good idea, ok sturdiness. Came in plain plastic wrap bags. No instruction or anything else. If I didn't know what it is, I wouldn't likely guess: stamp pad? film negative cleaner? poorly designed eye glasses cleaner? ... The microfiber pads are glued on and so not removable to wash or replace. So, disposable? Idea: Make it more sturdy with removable, washable and replaceable pads. I own & play a dozen guitars, electric, acoustic, classical... After playing a wipe on top of the strings just doesn't do it; so, I've been looking for just this kind of thing. Too bad it's not more durable and sustainable - I'd buy a couple dozen for me and the family. I'll use it and try washing by hand as is. ...and keep looking. Maybe I'll make and 3d print my own with replaceable pads.

I got the string cleaner as a stocking stuffer without realizing what a big hit it would be! Useful, effective, easy to use.

I’ll definitely be ordering more pads. Another product I had doubts about but it works great
