This mat does have some smell when first opened but I’m sure it will go away. I like the thickness of it and that it’s not too sticky (I like to be able to move my props around easily onthe mat), plus the design on both sides is pretty. The price is also very good compared to other mats. I have bought other Gaiam products and I’ve always been satisfied with them

Very nice thick padding. Does take a couple of days for the plastic smell to wear off. Beautiful color and design. Very happy with my decision!

I have bought two of these mats now. The extra thickness is great for sore wrists or other achy body parts and the quality is great! These mats last years.

The reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because of the harsh potent chemical smell. I’m not sure if this is same for all yoga mats or if it’s just mine, but the odor is very strong and smells like my yoga mat was fresh off the factory press assembly line and then immediately sent to me. If you are someone that’s sensitive to smell be sure to open this outside first to ensure it won’t stink up your house. Other than this minor negative feedback I do love everything else about my yoga mat! It has great durability and comfort. I love the cute design and for the most part stays fairly secure on my living room carpet but still slides around occasionally for certain yoga poses.

This Gaiam yoga mat has a nice cushion for knees and wrists, and the grip is good for both yoga and workouts. I love the reversible prints — it looks pretty and feels sturdy, and it rolls up easily for storage or carrying.

Been using it for a while now and really like the Mat. It has enough Grip for me to wear socks (i get cold lol) and the thickness is perfect for me! Love the Design as well

Love this yoga mat, it’s a lot more cushy and thick than I expected. Design is so cute and it feels truly high quality. Highly recommend!

J'ai lu des critiques sur ce produit disant qu'il sentait fort. J'ai donc hésité à l'acheter, mais je l'ai fait et je ne le regrette pas. Je n'ai pas constaté une si forte odeur que ça lorsque j'ai déballé le tapis, et dans tous les cas elle est partie très vite. Ce tapis est beau, suffisamment épais pour protéger les articulations sensibles. Avec le temps et l'usage, il ne s'abime pas. Il répond parfaitement à mes attentes. Je le recommande

Love my new Gaiam! It's the second one I get and I love them. They are affordable, anti-slip and beautiful. I have tried several brands and I don't think I will shop elsewhere now.
