Intex Vista Island Inflatable Raft Float Outdoors 94”x81”x20”

Tl;dr: I highly recommend this tube, 100/5 ⭐️ Long version: I took this tube down the Mississippi this weekend. Bought Intex specifically, bc it’s a name I trust in floats. I suggested a lake float, but the girlies insisted. I’m 5’9 and 240ish lbs, and I shared this float with a friend comfortably. Current suddenly pulled us into a downed tree, about halfway down the float, and a friend’s “heavy duty” popped in multiple places. This float was pressed against the same limbs and folded up from the pressure of the current, but it sustained no holes, and was able to take on my friend who is also a plus sized gal, with no loss of air or feeling like it was folding in around us- it supported all three of us and our soaked bags. Anyway, I had to jump off early to demonstrate how to get back to the landing, and my friends lost the float in the process, so I only got one use out of it. But honestly, this could have literally been a life and death difference, if we’d been trapped in the current with no float, so I can’t even be mad about it. Please forgive my thirst trappy pic, I wasn’t able to get many pics of the raft before it floated out of my life, but I wanted to give a good perspective of the size of this float!

We purchased this raft for my husband and myself to float around lake at our camp. We purchased at beginning of summer unfortunately weather did not cooperate and we were unable to use for several weeks. First use we were on raft and it didn’t seem inflated enough. I of course blamed my husband that he didn’t fill enough…. Which he said he did. Couple weeks go by, we are at lake again and again after we paddle out it seems to start loosing air again. We contact company to return and they refuse to refund because it was beyond 30 days…. Explained situation and the told me that obviously there was hole in raft and they were sending a patch kit. Once again I told them I looked and couldn’t find a hole. Still refused to return refund or replace. The item which seemed nice at first is junk and the customer service is worse than the product

This will be the second time buying this island. We love it. It is not so easy to inflate just because of its size. Easily fits three adults, four kids. The first one is losing air in places. I wish those patches works but the always pop off.

The raft was sold without a cap! Absolutely ridiculous. I googled and found a compatible cap and bought it and it fit. I then inflated the raft to find an obvious hole in the raft. Come on this is awful. Make it right!!
