These are excellent blades. As a leather craftsman I use fresh blades constantly. Bought another brand by accident and the literally dulled after 1-2 cuts. These blades hold an edge exponentially better. Will never order any other blades. Quality and value that are second to none.

Are these surgical grade? Nope. So if you want that, pay more. This comes oiled. These are hobby blades and doubt you'll ever use them all as a casual hobbiest. They fit nicely, and honestly, hate when the blade changes angles as they are used...which will still happen regardless on how hard you bear down during use, this movement is based on the neck width of the blade that you clamp down on...these seem to be less prone as the blade neck widths are closer to the handle insert width... The sharpness does not last long, but the quantity of blades you get should make this a non-issue. If I ever need more, I will buy more of these...great price!!!

These are sharp but the are also soft on the tip. The tip will bend and then when you try to use the full blade for a straight cut, the tip is not straight. That is the reason for the #4 rating.

At the price of these I will start changing blades out more often as they get nicked and dull. I can stop being a cheapskate with these.

They seemed to be made from stamped steel, very rough/sharp edges. Dull wildly quick. Just seem cheaply done, and come in a "paper" like material of oil. Bought the 40$ normal exaxtos. Will not buy these again.
