My husband had radiation treatments that needed to be kept clean. It was a lot easier than the real bath. The bath worked well for the radiation treatments. We love the ability to hang it in the shower area for draining and drying. The one thing that wasn’t really working was the spray mechanism. We could get the water to come out of the tubing but not as an upward spray at any force. Since the amount of water that could be used in the bath, the spray problem didn’t affect our use. We are happy enough with the product.

If you’re looking for a cheap Sitz Bath, this is a great option. If you’re looking for a perfect one, this may not fit the bill. Put some thought into the installation and where you’ll hang it as it’s a one-shot stick and go. The nozzle that points up can get turned incorrectly and will move left or right, unable to find that perfect center spot and you’ll be fighting it. It needs a seating spot that forces it to stay up even if the tube gets turned. The hand pump feels like it’s got weak seems, but it hasn’t broken on me. The pump intake can also leak and make you wonder where the water is coming from. The space it takes up seems a little too big for the standard toilet seat, so it will need a little adjustment to sit right. If you don’t seat it correctly it can miss draining into the toilet and instead goes all over the back of the toilet and the floor because it’s the only way excess water can vent. For my purposes I wouldn’t purchase it again, but if I could buy a new toilet seat and 3D print a better mount for the nozzle it would do the simple job it has.

I had a total proctocolectomy (removal of colon and rectum) 5 weeks ago so I have a 5 inch incision down below. These are hard to heal, and I’ve had some superficial infections. This sitz bath has saved me as it feels so comfortable to soak in warm water, and it is helping keeping it clean and to facilitate drainage to prevent a full blown abscess. I highly recommend this product to anyone with any issue down below like hemorrhoids or even post partum, I wish I knew about this when I had babies!

Really helped heal sore fissure near anal opening. Fitted toilet seat well and soothing. Follow as directed and will work. Use with plain scented Epsom Salts.
