i brought this item in december 2022 as mine was playing up, but it kept going till yesterday, now the pictures show this has ptz camera connection, now i decided to open the box today and guess what there's no ptz, just in case you are wondering it's the green connections, now seeming i have 7 cameras on my system and front and back are ptz one's this is no use nor ornament to me, now i can't send back but lesson to myself whether you use straight away or not check it, i didn't just be aware

Purchased to replace my Floureon DVR which worked when it felt like it.Was surprised to see when opening it was a smaller than normal box. But don't let that put you off.I have various makes of camera including 2 PTZ cameras on my system which you would normally have to choose manually which type of camera you are installing, but this is literally plug & play. It automatically chooses the correct type of camera so there is no fuss.Also when putting PTZ cameras on a DVR you would normally have to connect the cameras to a joystick or direct to the rear of the DVR into the serial port. Not with this, I just chose Pelco D option in the menu and could adjust it within the PTZ setup on the box.All that said, I am very disappointed in the Anlapus app. It worked for one day and now stopped working. The contact details on the play store is wrong so email will bounce back. Also if you have PTZ cameras you won't be able to adjust them within the app.The app is easy to set up and easy to use. When it works.Overall I would recommend this unit on the premise you can use a different app with it.

I brought this to the place of CCTV digital Video recorder as there was a problem, I searched on Amazon to get the same comparison that I have spent many hours and I come across this one to meet my needs. When connecting up. I notice that there was something missing from what was listed In the listings. The pictures were different from the machine which I received, The model numbers were different The one I received was a model down from the one I was expecting, so not as described, as listed.The picture quality is not clear as my old one and does not have many features, so very disappointing, but decided to keep it anyway as it was an urgent need and didn't want to go through explaining what is wrong mess about with returns I go through getting The correct one, which I was supposed to get.Very disappointed.What I mean by the Poor quality of video is 8 to 10 m away You can't recognise someone's face. No detail, the only thing which impressed me. I'm using the same cameras and the night vision is excellent.A month or two, I will probably buy another To meet my needs.

Using the product to monitor a building

Just down loaded app plugged my existing 4 cameras in and they worked fine.Would recommend.

Cheap DVR bought to replace a similar product when the hard disk failed after a few years. This product doesn't come with a hard disk so you need to buy one separately; I bought a Seagate Skyhawk 2TB which is designed for CCTV so should hopefully last longer. Installing the HD was easy and setting up the app was just a matter of setting a password and scanning a QR code. Video quality is good and the app has a convenient playback function.A couple of niggles: the desktop app is no longer available, and the app requests permission to make and receive calls, which is a little suspicious.
