LEGO Architecture Burj Khalifa 21031 Landmark Building Set

I bought the earlier Burj Khalifa Lego Architecture kit a few years ago and knew it could be done better. Kit number 21008 is the older version. The kit has 208 pieces (200 are 1x1 Round Brick's), stands under a foot tall, and took all of ten minutes to build. 2016, kit number 21031, Burj Khalifa... done better! This newer and better kit is what I have come to expect from the Lego Architecture series. About 333 pieces (only 1 1x1 Round Brick lol), stands over a foot tall (15.5"), and has far more detail then you can get from 200 circles stacked on top of each other. Very enjoyable build and a much better looking finished kit. Now Lego, let's get to work improving the rest of the earlier kits.

Price is competitive with WMT, plus you get free 2 day shipping with prime. Although the box indicates 12+ for suggested age, my 9 year old put this together in an hour. It looks cool and was a fun activity!

This is an ultra fantastic LEGO set... its really stunning how it emulates such engineering marvel. The pieces were complete, the assembly was robust and easy at the same time... one day I’ll be there in that place, and this LEGO set makes me feel that I’m a little closer... buy your own right now.

This model is so much better than the first one. I was pleasantly surprised by how tall it is too. Good price too. I haven't bought a Lego set in over a decade! I love these architecture sets. I think I saw the first version of the Burj Khalifa when they first announced the product line and was so disappointed, I totally forgot that they made them. This is has a good amount of detail and looks alot like the real thing.

I'm not even sure how this happens but there were pieces missing. My son is a Lego nutt, has a Lego desk and all that jazz. He asked for this set specifically after seeing in on YouTube. Started putting it together and was missing pieces!

the short run on this LEGO set will likely make this set highly sought after as there's very few (relatively) made. a must have for any collector of the vastly popular Achitecture series...great gift for a fan

Comparing this to the other Architectural Lego sets, I would give it 4.5 stars. It is a very quick build with less pieces per $ than say, The Flat Iron Building. I collect all of the Lego Architect sets and would recommend them all. If you plan on buying just 1 or 2 of the smaller sets ($30-40 range), then I would not recommend this one until you buy the others first. If you have built the Eiffel Tower or the Space Needle - this one is on par with those as far as build time and how it looks when displayed.

This is a great piece of art. It reminds me the time I was there whenever I look at this Lego block. I had a great time building it too.

This one is more challenging than some other sets, probably because of the monochromatic colors. I had fun with it on 2 separate occasions with different friends. Recommended for older kids and adults!
