Can build a lot, but wow do the instructions need a lot of help
Bought this for my 6-year old and spent a weekend building the Aircraft Carrier and one of the airplanes. The pieces are compatible (although not the same color) as LEGO brand products so when I accidentally lost a piece, I was able to go to the LEGO box and pick up a piece to finish the Aircraft Carrier. It took a lot of time for the carrier, but it came together really surprisingly well and hasn't fallen apart like I thought it would when I first started building it (although we're pretty sure that the instructions are either missing 4 wheels or the manufacturer decided that eliminating those 4 wheels was a good cost-saving measure). It's an excellent value for the price and if your child is interested in building, I'd recommend it.Now for the knock. The aircraft carrier is one large, double-sided piece of paper probably 2'x2'. Each step has light gray for the previously completed parts and darker gray for what you need to do. LEGO Friends, for example, break apart a number of areas into smaller areas and use 4-color printing to show how it goes together. For this one, we had to stare at the parts list, try to figure out if a part was dark gray or black sometimes, figure out where some of the pieces go by comparing the light gray to the darker gray add-in pieces, and some of those pieces that orient differently than what you expect are somewhat guesses. If they had this as two 2'x2' instruction pages and had some better coloration on the instructions (it's 4-color so maybe a different color than dark gray for the adds), I'd give it 5 stars and +++ recommendations, but puzzling out the instructions was difficult at times. In summary, an excellent value for what I paid and while it seemed to be very weak while building, it shows remarkable strength after completion.

Hard for kids to follow, poor instructions and not sturdy
For starters the instructions are the worst, you get to guess where the pieces go by a slight color change from photo to photo, I spent several minutes on every step trying to figure out where the remaining pieces identified went. Additionally the battle ship had 12 bags or so, I had to pen at least 9 of them before I could complete step 3, all bags were open by step 4. Why not break they bags up by step to ease the time of finding the pieces. Additionally I question the pieces used in construction. Bigger pieces could have been used to make it sturdy, other pieces served no function, they might have well just been a block vs. some special piece. A lot of 1x1’s and 1x2’s in the assembly.Once you put the stickers on you will quickly realize that the runway stickers run across 30 some pieces and if you ever take it apart you will not get the stickers or the right pieces to ever line up.Save your money.

Great set for the price
This is a great set for the money spent. My son loves it! He is 9 and it's a little harder to build then legos brand but he loved the challenge. He was able to build the ship along with 8 other vehicles all at once. On the site it will show which vehicles you can build, directions are a bit confusing.. Other then that directions aren't as clear the set is wonderful!!!

Lots of pieces. Great Value but big construction piece is not for small kids.
A solid 4.5 rating. Lots of pieces. Comes with a great storage bucket. Great Value but big construction piece is not for small kids. The instructions aren't quite as detailed or laid out as well as LEGOs so they're a bit challenging to read for small kids. Quality is great for the price. Overall a solid value!

Good but less pieces than listed.
3 stars as Disappointed the description was wrong listing 1712 pieces. My set received is inferior with less at 1630.Beyond the false listing, or me being shipped a lesser equivalent set than ordered, the overall product is good. We have had similar sets of this brand, and have enjoyed them all. Hours of fun building and much critical thinking (a good thing these days) as instructions take a bit more effort to decode than the name brand expensive sets.

Great Activity Bucket
This Lego Bucket is convenient for kids on a trip or in the car. The Lego assemblies are small but fun. There are endless combinations. My son enjoys them!

Good choice for less price
if you can't afford the branded one, this is the right choice I will recommend, My 8 years boy is so happy. plastic is good and durable like the branded one. Pieces are less as many reported, company should correct that, they paste an extra sticker with actual count on the bucket. Otherwise a good one I will say.
