The stand arrived very quickly. It is very light but was easy to put up, and does what I wanted. It has a second microphone fitting which fits on the vertical part of the stand which is very useful - my initial use is for supporting my iPhone for videoing, so now i cam do that and use a microphone at the same time. Brilliant. It is very light and easy to move around, and with a little care is stable evn with the mic boom extended. Thank you!

What an excellent product. It holds my mic in place perfectly. A love all the additional bits that come with it, makes it proper bargain.

Good for positioning Mic(s). A little unstable when fully extended, in fact if microphone is at the end of the extension pole it will topple over. So! I don't place it there or don't extend pole and in general I am happy with my purchase.

I was extremely happy with this product. Although some of it is plastic, much of it IS made of metal - the IMPORTANT parts - and it is more versatile than you think. You can use the boom to mike up an acoustic guitar, and the other section to do the voice mike. Or...you can hang the boom vertically and raise it up enough to reach the Jolly Green Giant if you wish. You can even put two mikes side by side if you want. The connections are solid, and when using a mike stand with plastic connections and adjusters, just remember they don't have to be tightened down to ridiculous levels. You don't NEED to keep tightening them until they break, because they will hold just fine with modest tightening. Just snug them up a bit, and then leave them be. By doing this, your adjusters will last a very long time. The biggest mistake people make with these is thinking they need to be torqued down everywhere like head bolts on an engine. Just an easy snug-down is all you need. Don't REEF them down, as they say. No need to do that. A gentle 'snug' is all you need. The stand comes with two holders for microphones and some fairly high quality wind socks that will fit over any mike. If you are looking for solid quality at a low price point, you just found it. The tripod legs are very stable, made of metal, and have plastic foot pads on the ends. The fact that it is lighter than a more expensive all-metal stand is a bonus. I wouldn't use it for a heavy metal concert with all the flinging and bashing around that goes on with such a thing, but for normal uses you won't get any better at this price. This stand will be used next summer in combination with a stereo/PA system at a wilderness festival for the famous 'DB Cooper,' the only skyjacker in US history who got away with it. I've tested it for both karoake and PA use for this event, and it works just great. If you want to know more about all that, just Google up Adventure Books of Seattle and you can't miss it.
