Good bar of wax. I like the container. Melts well.Nice that they put the advised melting temperature right on front of the label.I use it for a base wax prep on all my skis before laying down temperature specific glide wax.Highly recommend.

Don't use chemical based cleaners! To best clean the bases of your skis and boards from debris and contaminants the warm scrape method is the most traditional approach and Swix BP88 is perfectly formulated for this application. Another added bonus is that this wax gives a solid footing to the final layer of temperature specific wax and will last much longer. Forget the giant buffing wheel at the ski tuning shop that uses a lesser quality "one size fits all" wax, go for a good low melt base prep wax and a quality top layer such as CH7 or CH8.

Butter. enough said. bought base prep red. (mid range base prep) followed with ch4, then fluoro. brick is 6"L x 2"W x 1-1/2"D

Looks like counterfeit material. Arrived with no top cover & label in a plastic bag. Wax had excessive bubbles and look like it was just poured into a recycled container. I've bought other wax via Amazon and all were legit, but this was a waste of money.
