I will repeat the title, these are THE BEST microwavable popcorn I've EVER HAD! EVERY bite tastes like the best bite in a bag! I came across an article that spoke about the only microwavable popcorn that actually matches movie theater quality (this one, Cousin Willie's!), and it informed how microwavable popcorn could never really match movie quality because movie quality kernels are coated in something called "Flavacol" when it's added to the oil it's cooked in. Problem is that while anyone can obtain it, it's not necessarily something that you merely sprinkle on any popcorn (popped or kernel) or sticky on its own, but rather is meant to be mixed in with oil. In any case, this is to show the legitimacy of the article. So when it stated this being the microwavable popcorn closest to that quality, I took it to heart and found that this popcorn is by far and away the best around! I've tried Orville, Pop Secret, Act II, in all the various extra butter variations (Movie Theater, Butter Lovers, Ultimate Butter, Extreme Butter, Extra/Double Butter, Butter Lovers, etc.), and none of those even come close to Cousin Willie's Buttery Explosion! You know how you can get the "movie theater" or "ultimate" butter variation of those name brands, and you get 3 or 4 **select** bites in the whole bag; where it has some salt (but not too salty [you can tell some other brands attempt to achieve "extra butter" by merely piling on the most salt]) and it's big and fluffy with the perfect amount of crunch and bursts with buttery explosion -- Cousin Willie's is like EVERY bite is one of those bites! That was my immediate reaction and the best I can describe it! Now with something so select and high quality, it can/should be expected that it also doesn't come in as much volume or quantity as the other big conglomerate name brands. So while the 12 bags at an even more expensive price by no means gets even close to matching the 30 bags Pop Secret offers, I counter that it can't be said that it is a worse value for the money because the value is 2x or 3x far more superior. Like it's unfair or unreasonable to compare "value" in how you can get like 15 Select grade steaks for the price of 1 A5 Wagyu Prime grade steak; you literally pay so much for exquisite quality. I feel like I came upon the best kept secret (sorry Pop Secret) in popcorn with Cousin Willie's Buttery Explosion. And all other microwavable popcorns I've had since, to me, are just being measured against how far away they are to it and this popcorn is now the measuring yardstick with which all of them are now compared to (that while they are good, how much they fall short). As a lover of microwavable popcorn, there are no regrets I have with these!

Tastes amazing

In my opinion, microwave popcorn, like frozen pizza all tastes the same. Regardless of who markets it or how much they build it up, it still tastes like microwave popcorn or frozen pizza. Having said this, Cousin Willie’s popcorn is excellent. It pops up light and has a high % of popped kernels. I was impressed. A tip, never put the bag in the microwave, set the timer and walk away. I found Uncle Willie’s will pop in about 3 minutes. For best results, stay with it and when the popping slows to 2-3 kernel pops, stop the process. Use some popcorn salt and some butter flavor oil to really make it good. It’ll never be like the popcorn at the movie but very good.

It's good popcorn. I can taste a little difference from others. My kids like it. The price is a little high, but would buy again.

Been trying to find super saturated buttery popcorn like the darn movie theatres and this is it!! Finally can enjoy my movies like they were intended. For years I used ActII but they reduced the Butter Lovers to almost nothing and reduced the amount in the bag. Zero taste! Just like everybody else is doing. NOT CRAZY WILLIE! Tons of buttery taste. I knew this was going to be the case when I could see the butter staining the bag... Got all excited microwaving it and I am so not disappointed! Expiration date is almost 9 months from now! Super tasty and super fresh. I am so damn happy!!

Tasted good but many kernels did not pop. Not worth the money.
