Great sample
I love it!! Fun stuff but it will make your skin gray. It would be a great science report. If you dissolve aluminum foil into it will create a paste that when added to water will releases the hydrogen from the water.

Quality sample
Great for causing massive amounts of damage. If you ever wanted to slow blow the high pressure tank in someone's garage. If you ever wanted to blow someone's engine up with just a drop. If you ever wanted to crack a padlock in your bare hands. If you ever wanted to crumble that built up 4x4's diamond plate. Etc. This is the product you want.

Fun and messy all at the same time
The pros: Fun to play with, non toxic, interesting to watch it form a crystal pattern as it hardens, melts at around 80 deg. The cons: Gets all over anything it touches, hard to get out of the container unless you leave it in hot water for 5 minutes, would recommend ordering twice this amount if using for any type of class room demo or planning to make magic spoons out of it.

Science is fun
I got this to show my teen nephews the fun of science. It tends to be hit or miss with them. My friends on the other hand loved it. One enjoyed it so much i gave it to her. I think if i got this when they were younger it would have been a better reaction.

Cool Stuff
Bought this for my fiance for Christmas, he was very pleased with it. I thought it was kind of strange how the bottle was not labeled, and there was no information on or in the box whatsoever to tell what it was or give handling instructions...but everything seems fine with it. No issues with the product to report. Great deal imo, for how much you get.

Pretty fun!
There isn't as much volume as you'd think, but 50 grams is more than enough to have a good time with. It does tend to oxidize with air more than you'd think, so try not to just leave it liquid for too long. Don't be afraid to melt it in water, it doesn't mix in and melts far faster than if it was in a container. Pouring it into ice water can freeze it in cool looking little pieces!

melted to plastic bottle
When the package arrived the metal was melted in the small plastic bottle and stuck inside to the mouth of the plastic (it's similar to an aspirin bottle). I had to use a knife to cut around the the plastic, it's been 2 days and it's still not completely out.

Of all the things in the world that are Gallium, this is definitely one of them.
Yup, that is Gallium alright! I used it for Chem I and as a "Stupid Sub Trick" and the classes loves it! A world to the wise: wear gloves when you handle it. It's not toxic or anything, but it stains your skin like crazy. If you want to refreeze it, park it in your freezer overnight. If you want to melt it not in your hands, turn on your oven and let it sit on top (i.e. not IN the oven).
