SopiGuard Skin for iPad Pro Magic Keyboard 11" (iPad Pro A2228) Precision Edge-to-Edge Vinyl Sticker Top, Keyboard, and Rear Panel (3M Matrix)

I will start by saying that, I am a huge fan of using skins to my devices and I was excited that there was a skin available for the magic keyboard. This is not my first time applying skins to my devices. I understand that there may be user error when it does come with applying these skins onto surfaces. Pros: I like the feel of the skin, it feels durable, and I liked the way it looked on the case. But that is where it ends regarding the pros. Cons: This skin is thicker (may be a pro for some), it's super sticky, and it left residue that I cannot take off. See attached photos. I purchased this brand, because I saw a video, on youtube, where the user had taken off this skin and it showed that it left no residue on the case. And that was the major reason why I purchased it. To my disapointment, I found that to not be the case. It looks more like an imprint of the actual design more than residue. I cannot take it off. I've tried rubbing alcohol, goo-gone, a wet towel with some soap on it, and a plain wet paper towel. I had intially taken off the front and the back, because I realize I had a lot of bubbles underneath. I wanted to lift it to get rid of some of the bubbles. I found that this skin was difficult to apply due to the thickness of the skin. I felt that it was stiffer compared to most skins that I have used in the past. The unbendy nature of it requires you to apply it straight instead of easing the skin on to surface. I found if I would bend it too far it would leave a crease on the skin. Overall, I would not recommend this skin. I've going to look for something else, because now I really need a skin to cover up this mess.

It’s a pain in the ass to install

This skin did not fit perfectly and can't be readjusted because it stretches and gets ruined. Their customer service is atrocious. I politely asked for a partial refund because only one of the 3 pieces was used. They rudely and sarcastically declined. Stay away from this company if you value your money.

For this particular style 6/5 stars!!! Looks amazing ! It was by far the easiest wrap to use and I have used at least 5-6 different wraps from car wraps/ other laptops/ and etc. the stickiness was extremely forgiving and was easy to maneuver. It feels like great quality and seems to be durable. I do think it might cost too much but if you compare to cheap vinyl wraps that are a mess, this should definitely be a top pick. EDIT: bought another variantion for my GF and it was a glossy kind. BE WARNED didn’t come out as great as this one, small damages on the case itself were made clear with the wrap so it made it uglier than expected. Advise to use a textured one like the one above to “cover” damages.

Overall good skin for covering Magic Keyboard. Came on time, cuts were accurate dimensions and it was somewhat easy to install. I do however think this was severely overpriced. The materials seem like they are marked up 1000-2000%. What you actually get is not worth $30 but with no other choice for protection I gave in.

The cover does not remain well attached to the keyboard around the camera lens ... no matter what it detaches ... see photo. Very annoying !!! Can I get a refund?

The concept of the product is good. However being able to install it properly is another story. I bought two of these at separate times and wasn’t able to get a good install on either one in spite of following the install instructions on the site. I threw out the first one and ordered another one hoping it would install better. No such luck. I’ve literally thrown away over $50 on this product. I’m done. I don’t recommend the product.
