I wasn’t a huge fan of air fryers before, but the new Ninja Airfryer completely changed my mind. This model isn’t just an air fryer.The fantastic grill function is the one I absolutely love. It’s super easy to use, with an intuitive electronic display that makes selecting the right function a breeze.One of the standout features is the variety of cooking functions. Whether you’re grilling, air frying, or reheating, everything works seamlessly. The flyers included in the box are incredibly helpful—they guide you on how to cook different types of meat, the ideal temperatures, and timings. I have actually had this for over two years, and have gotten a lot of use out of it. It is very versatile, easy to clean and is still in perfect working order. You can bake, roast, air fry, dehydrate, and grill with it, and it heats up within minutes so is ideal if you don’t want to put an entire oven on for energy saving purposes or if it’s a hot day. It is quite big to keep on a countertop but I have space in an undercounter cupboard for it.

Our main big oven broke and we replaced it with a cheap mini oven which was hard to keep clean, took forever to heat and cooked food quite unevenly. We decided to get rid of it and order a more expensive machine.We decided to get a 5.7l Ninja Foodi because out of all other options, it seemed the most suitable for us. I don’t like the design of the usual double basket air fryers and I thought it would be cool to have both grill and air fryer and also an oven in one.I received this today and the pic attached shows what I’ve made to test it. It was a handful of frozen chips and a meatless no-chick’n burger. I’ll break it in points to make it easier.1. Heating timeoh boy, do I love this machine already. The heating was so fast I just couldn’t believe it, I thought it hasn’t heated fully. But I threw the chips and burger in and it all sizzled nicely.2. Cooking timeThis is another thing that surprised me… most guides for air fryers say that you should fry the chips at 200*C for about 20-25 minutes.I set it at 190*C, set the timer to 15 minutes and it was all ready and perfect!!! Crispy, cooked through, and delicious.I opened it once and stir the contents. The machine stops automatically after you lift the lid up, and resumes after it’s closed again. I don’t have any proper accessories yet so I just stirred everything with a big wooden spoon.3. CleaningIt is so easy to clean, I don’t have a dishwasher but it’s no problem at all to wash it by hand.And no residue is going to be building up at the bottom like in a regular oven, because everything can be taken out to clean!4. Overall experienceThis machine, despite its capacity, is not very big. I was expecting something much bigger but I’m glad it’s not, because it’s just perfect. The design of the cooking plate is pretty deep so enough to cook for our family of 3.Haven’t used other options than airfry yet, but it was a positive experience. I’m going to use it for almost everything.I plan to make some tofu puffs in it later, to go with rice from my Bamboo rice cooker.I honestly have no idea why I haven’t thought of getting it earlier. It’s so much more convenient and comfortable than a regular oven. Perfect little machine.

I’ve been using my Ninja air grill for a week now and I’m so glad I took the plunge and bought one. I read the reviews beforehand, all of which had received a free product to test to write a review. I was a bit sceptical but as I have other Ninja products which I’ve been very pleased with, I decided to buy one. I was not disappointed. I’ve cooked many dishes in the Ninja and all have turned out very good. It’s early days yet of course but I can see its potential for the type of meals I prepare. I usually dislike cooking sausages in the conventional way because of fat splattering everywhere, no matter how careful I am. In the Ninja they cook quickly and without the mess. I’ve cooked baked potato halves and the skin is just so crispy, an effect I wouldn’t normally get in a conventional oven. Steak comes out seared and succulent. I do use my own discretion though when it comes to timing. I’ve cooked flatbread in it but that’s a work in progress as I usually cook them in a flat pan on top of the stove. I can see it working well for homemade pizzas.As I’ve said it’s early days yet but so far I’m loving it.Cleaning is easy too. Clean it after each use and it’s like new. The stiff brush is perfect for the grill plate. The of the size of the Ninja as mentioned in some of the reviews may be a problem for some. I stored my large toaster to make room on the counter and discovered it toasts bread and buns very well. So all in all I’m one happy customer.

So many choices to cook. The grill function is especially great, we have been making our own burgers, cooked chicken breast to perfection, pork chops and steaks, perfectly done. The air fryer option is great too and we have baked pies and fried potatoes and veg as well as fried eggs and cooked two small gammon joints of meat perfectly. I really cant praise it any more.We have had problems with the probes/thermometer though, I contacted ninja and they sent me a replacement machine and their new cordless thermometer. Great customer service, extremely helpful and courteous. If you dont have the room, there is a smaller version available.
