Expert Shield Crystal Clear Screen Protector with Top LCD for Canon EOS R5

I had one on my 5DM4 for four years and loved it. Put this one on my R5 and it protected the screen from a scratch, but then didn't fully adhere. No problem, they send a free replacement. Top notch product and company!

The size for the rear screen is fine, but there is little to no real adhesion, it acts like a basic "static cling" piece of film. Peeling off the 2nd sticker they have on the film (carefully as their instructions state) still life up the film off of the screen.

Both protectors fit the back and top displays of my less-than-month-old Canon R5 perfectly. There are no big gaps and it’s clear what I received was designed and cut to fit this specific model. The flip display can close normally without any impediment. It is tedious to get the larger display covered without bubbles, but worst case, there are two protectors in the package, so you can always start over as I did. Practice made perfect.8-24-2020 Update: Attaching photos of both protectors attached to my R5. Each fit well within my tolerance expectation. If they were larger, they'd be difficult to align and ensure 100% of the material applies to the display to avoid bubbles and problems with the protector inadvertently coming off as I've had with other mfgr versions over the years. My quick iPhone close-up shots I have attached are far from great, but hopefully demonstrate how close the protector material is to the very edge of both displays. I have zero bubbles or problems with the protector slipping once they were applied (but they easily come off if you use an Xacto knife to carefully remove it from the corner should the need ever arise.) There are zero bubbles (that's dust you see on top of the protector itself.). I highly recommend this for R5 owners. IDK if perhaps the other reviewer's negative experience may be with a bad batch or perhaps old stock Amazon has on-hand in Europe, but my US experience with this product has been great.2-13-2021 Update: Today I unfortunately downgraded my overall rating of this product. Despite very positive application experience as I articulated above, and initial quality observations 6 months ago on my brand new R5, I’ve had two instances where the protector began lifting at a corner — one near the display swivel — not an edge more generally touched in common use.The protector permanently lost it’s “stickiness” in this area and grew in size over time. I replaced the first protector with a second, and sadly the second protector has now also begun having the same problem. I don’t get it, as this isn’t an area that I touch often, if at all, and it’s fully over the R5’s glass display. After purchasing this product twice, I’ve ordered an alternative to try again.

The LCD protector needs to be a mm. or two larger to cover the entire screen. The film for the top LCD fit well. I had no trouble with installation and there are 2 sets of protectors. The touch screen functions as if the protector wasn't there.

It’s a good product but it was really hard to install. Mines still has bubbles on it and for some reason it keeps moving and gliding on the screen. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Good instructions

Easy enough to install so long as you have a relatively dust-free room and don't go too crazy with squeegeeing. Clarity is really good too, at least compared to the anti-glare versions. Highly recommended.

Don't buy.Poorly sized and does not cover screen edge to edge (Canon R5). The film is flimsy and does not adhere well. When removing the top protective install layer the film lifts off the screen.
