Sol Duct Tape - Great for Backpacking and Traveling
Two 50-foot rolls; 1 in my backpacking first aid kit and one in my travel toiletries kit. For backpackers, one roll is 2" wide, about 3/4" diameter (approximately 0.9 cubic inches or 0.01 liters) and weighs 0.7 ounces (20 grams). For the benefits that duct tape can provide while on an extended backpacking or other trip, it is well worth carrying this less-than one ounce item. You could make your own from a larger, less expensive roll, but I think the cost of these small roles is a better value than the time and hassle associated with making your own - we all know that pulling duct tape off a roll is not easy, and, in my experience, it is extremely difficult to reroll it tight and straight - so don't bother unless you have way more time and patience than money...

Many Uses for emergencies
I am an EMT and a CPR instructor, I bought this product to go with me on Ambulance calls in the same pocket as my gloves. I carry a roll for almost anything but specifically for hair removal for Codes with hairy chests (instead of wasting a set of electrode pads which cost up to $125 +). Great for securing a compression bandage in the field, also a tourniquet if one is not readily available since a person can bleed out within 2 minutes. Also great to rip off a 3" piece and put on your pants to document vitals if no paper is available! Not to mention all of the common uses of duct tape in the wilderness when hiking, camping, cycling. Great product and for the price it is much more practical than rolling my own small roll.

Good idea for your survival pack
Duct tape is so versatile and can be used in countless emergency, camping and survival situations. I keep a full size roll in my car but it is impractical to carry a full size roll in my bug out bag or camping backpack. This package contains two 50 foot rolls (2"x50' ea) in a compact size for easy transport. I wish the price was a little lower but the compact size makes these two rolls of duct tape worth it. Very convenient
I got this product to have for emergency repairs while backpacking and to keep in an emergency bag in my car. Having duct tape available when you need to make an unexpected or temporary repair is invaluable. Some brand of duct tape seem to be stronger than others. Not sure what brand SOL uses for this item but it seems pretty good. It is not super thin like the cheap stuff but it doesn't seem to be as high quality as the best brands. I feel it is more than adequate for most tasks though. In the past I have just made my own small rolls from a full size roll. I seem to have gotten a little lazy as I get older. A full roll is a much better value but this product is much more convenient. Pros: convenience Cons: Price (vs. a full roll)

Great for backpacking.
I know it seems stupid to buy tiny rolls of duct tape, you can just make your own, but these are great. One fits easily in a medical kit, it is strong sticky tape that is easy to tear at the same time, and it is nice and thick with a smooth outside which makes it perfect for blister covers. I don't use duct tape for anything else so buying these is way easier than getting a whole roll of top quality duct tape and portioning it out.

Everyone Needs Duct Tape!
This is our second order of travel-sized duct tape! You never know when you'll need to mend something on the road, and this is a great item to add to your Travel Survial Kit. We've used it to fix a broken handle on a suitcase, and to hem a pair of pants in a hurry. Personally, I wouldn't leave home without it. If you've read "The Girl Who Played With Fire", you also know it could be used to cover a wound...but I wouldn't know about that first hand, and hope I never do.

Functional, but if you want more than a few of these, make your own.
These are what they say - small rolls of duct tape. They have a thin plastic rod in the center so that they retain their nice round shape, even when packed. That said... If you're going to want more than a few of these (for emergency kits, the car, a hiking pack, etc...), you can make your own for a lot cheaper. Buy a roll of duct tape (50 yards for like $10), cut some off, and roll it around itself (sticky side on the inside - duh :p). If you want to get a nicer roll shape, buy a thin dowel, cut it to the width of the tape, and roll it around that. Or if you really want to do it up, buy something like a thin rod of PTFE (you can even get one on Amazon for under $10), which is the same stuff that Teflon is made of so things don't stick to it well, and wrap the tape around it. For less than $20, you could make like 18 of these rolls. Alternatively, with a thin sheet or film of PTFE, you could make flat "rolls" like these, which might be useful in some circumstances (like in my bike seat pack).

Cheap, useful, lightweight
Not a lot to say - it's typical duct tape quality, super useful, and it seems like the best deal for a small/portable roll like this. The common backpacking advice of "wrap some duct tape around your water bottle" seems pointless when you can throw a couple little rolls of this in your pack. Heck, you should carry one around everywhere - you'll find a really nice use for it for something, at some point, before long.

These are the perfect size for an emergency kit that you take with you either in the car or on hikes, or just to stick into a home kit. The nice thing about the size of these rolls is that if you needed to you could even stick one in your pocket and carry it with you without it being cumbersome or bulky at all. I'll probably buy a larger roll for a home kit and stick one or both of these in the car.

Para valer o valor deveria vir 4. Ele faz o seu trabalho, mas o valor não compensa. Ele é pequeno para por no seu EDC e achei ótimo deveria vir 4 deste tamanho para valer o VALOR.

I carry these little rolls in my EDC organiser and in my hiking backpack. The size is really compact, and the tape sticks well. I have tried transferring a small amount of tape to something else from a big roll, but have found that the tape adhesive is not as good any more when you later come to use it, so I prefer this product although it costs a bit more.
