I wanted speakers outdoors and this little box let me do it. Connection is easy - connect the output of your stereo/amplifier to the input of this box. Connect your existing speakers to (for me, anyway) port A. Connect your outdoor speakers to port B. Connect any other speaker pairs to the other available ports. Press the A button for inside speakers, press the B button for outside speakers then turn off the A speakers so your amplifier isn't overloaded. I do this a low volume. The buttons connect the speakers in parallel. The included instructions are pretty awful. Absolutely worthless. I could have replaced this box with a single dpdt toggle switch, but in the future I will add speakers in other rooms, so I got the multiple switches for expansion. It works, probably I'd get it again.

I bought this to use for my outdoor speakers as I don't have a zoned amplifier and let me say that this thing is great! It is very simple to hook up and the zone selection buttons are very easy to use. The unit doesn't require any power and it provides up to four zones. You could easily wire up a small to medium sized house with just this unit. The speaker wire easily connects to the unit and holds them in place well. The unit itself seems well made and comparable to a more expensive unit. I haven't noticed any degradation in sound quality and I thought that the sound actually improved. I'm sure that a more expensive unit would offer more features and if I had a professional setup I'm sure that I would get one but if you're just looking for a nice speaker selector without spending a lot of money then go with this one, you won't be disappointed.

Complete piece of junk. The terminal blocks are so wimpy that three clips came out as I was connecting wires. Will NOT accommodate monster cable wire!!! When I finally got speakers connected, they sounded like crap.

Our home came with built in speakers in 4 areas with volume controls installed in each area. The previous homeowners had a powered splitter that took one powered stereo output and boosted it to 4 stereo channels while maintaining the required impedance. We did not have much luck with this device, nor did the manufacturer make a replacement that we could find. Our surround sound amp has extra zones, but cannot handle the low impedance of paralleling the channels. With this device, we can send the one powered stereo output from our extra zone, split it into our 4 ( up to 6) channels while maintaining the required impedance for the amp to function correctly. The installation was simple and the device works flawlessly.

Is a great product , controlling the volume of each set of speakers , is a nice improvement on my last one . Love the feature of having 6 sets of speakers . Having music all day inside and and at garden makes me really happy . Thanks .

Easily solved an impedance issue with a vintage 8 x 4 ohm Hammond speaker cab and a second 4 x 4 ohm cab by allowing six speaker pairs, each pair wired in series, to present a required 8 ohm combined load to an equally vintage two channel amp without creating a jungle of wires. Simple and inexpensive fix that cured an overheating issue with an otherwise finicky amp. Impedance protection worked as advertised, and made a complex wiring scheme relatively idiot proof, a lot more organized and far less mentally taxing. Not exactly the intended application, but don't tell Pyle. Nothing fancy happening here, just a compact plastic box with a bunch of speaker posts. But it got the job done.

Ho tardato a comprare questo amplificatore poiché pensavo di travarne uno con le stesse caratteristiche a un prezzo inferiore. Purtroppo non ho trovato di meglio e quando sono andato a ordinarlo costava 10€ in più. Lho ordinato lo stesso. Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Dovevo comandare 6 casse alimentate quindi l'uscita da 100 volt era indispensabile. L'ho collegato all switch per casse che avevo preso precedentemente. Semplice il montaggio, strepitoso il funzionamento. Leggero e semplice da usare. Consiglio
