Looks Funky, but Was Easy to Install and Works Well
I noticed the sole on my slide shoe was badly worn. I have a pair of the Dexter SST shoes, and this was the one that was listed as fitting. I was a little dubious at first because of the over the toe harness, but since I could not find any other replacement sole, I bought it. Turns out that it was really easy to install, and I don't notice any difference between the old sole and this one - other than this one works because it is not worn :-).

Toe cap protection
I push off very hard and have had to replace my toe cap on my old shoes about every 2 years. This cap looks funky but is built solid. when you get over the looks and bulk it works well. I'll probably need a spare in my bag for tounaments. It goes on quickly - that is a plus because if the cap breaks through when shooting for money you want to switch it out fast.

1. It works but right now I'm using the original sole with my two hundred dollar pro-shoes. Still if you have the material on the bottom of the shoe to attached the quality is well constructed and attaches easily to the Velcro .2. I can not believe over a year ago I bought this Dexter Mac sole. I wrote a review number 1 above and failed to submit it. Shame on me. Really literally I have thrown over two thousand games in one year. I'm retired and bowl 90 to 94 games a week all Summer long using this sole alone in over two year 2 bowled over 3500 games with this Powerstep T3. I finally wore the front out but not enough to throw it away. I have it as a back up in my bag. I just got a new one today. It is fantastic griping an adds to my power for lift and release. I'm bowling 200 plus with it. League last night I bowled 662 or 220 average. It grips when I plant my foot and does not move. Love it!

Fits the Hammer Force and Brunswick TPU X, it's not perfect but...
I wanted other bowlers to know this sole can be used on the Hammer Force and Brunswick TPU X shoes as well. I'm not a toe dragger, but I had worn the edge of the original sole from my approach style after a season and a half of bowling, and the rubber on the edge of the sole near my big toe was separating from the velcro.Fitment:It's not a perfect fit, but it's very acceptable considering it's not designed for this shoe. I have attached pictures so you can see the slight gaps. The picture of the left edge of the shoe show the gap, which is about 3/8 of an inch. You can open up the strap and position the shoe in the sole to fit the best in the area where you drag or push off to have the best fit there, and it will change where and how large the gap will be.It has the same veclro, so it adheres well without the straps, But I think the straps are for the aggressive toe dragger. It doesn't fully cover the velcro sole on the shoe, so I'm going to cut the old sole to fill in the rest of the velcro area so it doesn't pickup carpet fibers and other junk on the hook part of velcro on the shoe. The last picture shows the original sole laid over top so you can seen the comparison of size.Functionality:I've used it for 4 weeks, and feel no difference to the original sole. I did trim the old sole to fill in the gap left at the base of the exposed velcro sole.

The sole works as advertised, maybe too well, It's a little too wide and I have tripped on it a few times. Also, for what it does it's pretty pricey. There is a competitor that is about $15-$20 less. I must say it's reallywell made and most likely will last years. I just wish it was a little less costly.
