Great little unit
Bought this for golf. Really good sound, and rides well in the cart as well as a push cart. Highly recommend this unit.

quality is ok but great convenience of fitting in a cup holder
Just got it in the mail and tried it out. The quality seems ok and the sound is decent but not great. I got it for my samsung mp3 player and its good enough for listening to in the car while driving but it's not especially loud. But overall I think it's a great idea and very convenient how it fits in a cup holder to maximize space. When you put the mp3 in the top of the speakers where there's a slot to hold it, it slides around and doesn't fit so great (but it might change based on the size of the mp3 player/ipod/phone you put in there.)

Disappointment
I was really surprised to open the box and find nothing but the player. It is very poorly designed and the ipod flops around in the holder. When it comes to setting it up,the so called manual is useless. Does not come with A/C Charger, Car charger, iPod connector, or even the 4 AA batteries that is required to run it. What are they thinking? Will make a good garage sale item.

Great idea, but.....
I was excited to find a speaker for my ipod that would fit into a cup holder - thus keeping it from moving around. It seemed like such a great idea. But the speaker sound is not nearly loud enough. With the volume all the way up, as well as my ipod volume all the way up, I could still barely hear the sound when driving. Also, in the picture, it looks like the ipod will sit in the top of the cup snugly. Not so. I have an ipod 3G, and the way the plug in cord connects, makes it impossible to set the ipod in the indentation - unless you do it upside down. So, the conclusion - it works OK as long as you don't put it in the cup holder while you are driving.

Great for autos that don't have the mp3 accessability. Loud enough to be heard in a truck. Need to turn up phone/mp3 to max and then use the speakers volume control. I've had mine abt 6 months and it's still going. The other brand it replaced didn't last 2 months. I have an ipnone and bought an extra 2-piece cover which I glued in the holder with a little Gorella glue and now it stays in place very well otherwise it wobbled around.

This product works well. I am looking for the car adapter so that I don't always have to use batteries.
