Almay Eyeliner - Black - 0.01 oz

This eyeliner goes on smooth, easy to wash off and the color is bold, love it!

It stays in place for the most part, better than many others I've tried, even much more expensive brand versions of black eyeliner pencil. I never use the sharpener attached on the end of it, but if you are into "super sharp thin lines" I suppose you might like that feature, too. I like how it is still soft enough to blend, if I want to do that, but it can hold a sharp line if applied firmly. Do not apply on top of any kind of moisturizer - it will dissolve and be runny. It washes away pretty easily with soap and water, but sometimes I use a makeup remover towelette to get it all off at the end of the day.

The media could not be loaded. I love the ease of use for this product. You don't have to worry about sharpening the point, you just twist the pen and more "point" comes up. I tried to show that in the slightly blurry video. The line is very easy to draw on the eyelid and it doesn't harden like many eyeliner pencils do so that you have to warm the tip slightly to get it to go on smoothly. I have purchased a slightly different version of this pencil, but have found that they are both pretty much the same product. I took a photo of the previous one I used before this one. They really are the same thing. I have been an Almay fan for decades. It's just a drugstore type brand but it puts out some nice products, this being one of them.My only caveat is that the lines do fade a little after several hours so you may have to re-apply. I'm used to this so I keep buying the product. It's just so easy to put on in the morning when I'm rushing. I basically love it. I wanted to give it 5 stars but it seems more honest to give it 4 when I know about the need to re-apply it later in the day. Some people are fine with that, as I am, but others don't like it. I hope this review was a little helpful. :)

I changed my rating from 5 stars to 1...This eyeliner was my favorite for years, and yet the last 3 I got have been HORRIBLE.I thought it might have been a batch problem, but now, with the 3rd ones received months later.. It still is horrible!This used to be solid black, soft, and would stay on over 24hrs even with me using my eye drops for contacts...Now??It hard,leaves a thin grayish color... It clumps up when you go over more than once, which you need in order to make it look even remotely black. It lasts a couple hours at most and smudges everywhere.WHAT HAPPENED??Iuaed to brag about this eyeliner all the time. Now I HATE it and I have to go find another one, since I'm not buying more just to be disappointed again.

This is the best pencil eyeliner I've ever used. It's been about 20ish years now. I love the self-sharpener. Not having to buy another sharpener and deal with wood shavings is fantastic. I could never go back to that kind of eyeliner. It goes on smoother than any other liner and shows darker. The only problem is sometimes I have to reapply along the bottom lash line during the day. That's ok. I love that Amazon has the black; for many years I struggled to find it in black. Thanks!

I use this in conjunction with Almay’s liquid eyeliner pencil. I usually use it on the bottom eyelids. Absolutely love it! A little thicker line than the liquid, and it may run if it gets wet, so check it in mirror if you cry or use eye drops. I especially love that it is automatic and never needs to be sharpened.

This is the only eyeliner I ever use. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a great product for the price. The color is great, and it lasts all day. I have had little issues with it smearing or smudging as the day goes on. It comes off easily too. The only issue I ever have is that it can sometimes be difficult to apply when using a brand new pencil, but it's easy to fix.
