Incredible sound for the price
Review for the CA-3810 2.1 80 Watt set. I had an old 4.1 AL speaker system setup that I really loved, even though it was close to 25 years old. But during a move to a new house, the AL speaker sub failed to work when setup again. I bought this as a temp replacement specifically because of the low price point. But I have to say, this setup has some incredibly impressive sound and I don't think it will be temporary. With the sub settings, the bass is way too heavy and overpowering at higher levels. But as others have noted, if you set the individual bass setting on the volume knob at about 25-30% it sounds great overall. If you want to pound the bass, you can. But it can overpower quickly. After adjusting the settings though, I'm really loving it. Immersive sound with more than enough bass for under $80.Personally, I like the physical volume control knob. Not a fan of controlling the volume via the keyboard alone. The knob isn't perfect, but I like how everything is centralized to the location of your choosing. The only drawback I would warn about this would be the length of the cables. The bass, satellite speakers. and volume knob are all connected together, and you only have ~5' of cord length to connect everything. It wasn't a problem for my setup, but keep that in mind if you're expecting to space out the speakers much.

AMAZING sound, AMAZING price
Wow. I have had various stereo and speaker combinations in the past, for different use-cases and under different circumstances; and for a home computer system in a bedroom that needs to be beefy yet compact, and offer quality features without being overly complicated, I really don't think there's a better offer out there. I would have paid $90 for it, easily (probably shouldn't say that - but hey, now I can buy two).Make sure you take your time, read what the inputs and outputs are, and TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN (as well as turning the power off on the dial that comes with it). You wouldn't want to start your experience with this thing by having it blow out your ears - which it would. So just a quick precaution there. But beyond that, it was VERY simple to setup and the output for the tweeter pair that come with it is on the back of the woofer. And that's probably the last time you will have to deal with the woofer, thanks to their handy-dandy dial (be careful when handling the woofer so as not to impress the open speaker on the bottom, just fyi). I also elected to put the woofer on the floor instead of the desk (so as not to rattle my hard drives), and I can't even tell it's there because of how much the sound fills the room. The first track I put on to try it out HAD to be "Bad Boys," by Inner Circle - that song will always tell you what you're working with. I didn't hear any distortion unless I pumped it up way beyond what would be comfortable for me to listen to, and even at that, I had the woofer on 100% (which you generally don't need to do). The tweeters are bright, maybe brighter than one might expect, but when you get your woofer to 75% or so and dial-in that perfect balance, you will find that they really complement eachother and nothing feels lacking. Just to compare, I switched output to my desktop bluetooth speaker I was using previously (not a cheap one), and bam - it made that old speaker sound like a joke by comparison. I just couldn't believe how much audio detail and finer dynamic range I was missing. Such an improvement.I have this setup to come out of a home studio style mixer/audio interface combo, which receives its own audio signal from the computer. I've got to tell you - ABSOLUTELY amazing. Blew my mind, and that was without any EQ enhancement! Some reviewers have commented that the power button stops working after a certain amount of time... well as mentioned, part of the reason I bought this was to replace a desktop bluetooth speaker - which constantly turns off when not being used. And I wanted something that would just stay ON all the time, so I don't think that will be a problem for me. Also, the "auxiliary" output doesn't seem to work, but I haven't tried it with all possible receiving equipment, so I won't include that determination in my review. And honestly, even if I did, I believe I would still be rating it 5 stars. What sealed the deal in me taking a chance on this unit was that I also saw it was featured as part of a "Small Business" support type campaign in the description, and when I get a chance, I like to support small and up-and-coming enterprises. And as is often the case, I'm very glad I did.Bottom line? WORTH THE SHOT.

Mixed feelings but worth the price
My old Windows XP PC IDT audio stopped working and could not find audio drivers to re-install and didn't want to deal with it.However the PC's analog earphone jack still worked. So enter this speaker system as an audio work around. The good:If someone wants loud enough audio for a good price this is for them.Music audio would be acceptable for most but its definitely not for picky audiophiles.Bass is good when i can find the bass control. The volume control is easy to get at and works ok.Had it working from box to PC in about 15 minutes an easy straight forward install. The Bad:My biggest gripe is the circular control pod which is the worst ergonomic design i've ever seen.Whoever designed that thing should be fired with no severance pay.Its basically a circular pod with the ON/OFF switch, and Bass control on opposite sides of the circular pod.Literally have to pick it up to see where the controls are at in a dark room.I usually need a flash light to find the bass control in a dark room.Worse yet the bass control is not a knob but a circular wheel making it even harder to find in a hurry. They could of easily designed the bass control on top of the pod along with the ON/OFF switch. Conclusion:Even though i struggle with the pod controls its good enough for this old PC and the price was right so its a keeper.
