One of my kids has sensory processing issues related to autism, and plain rice is a staple that he’s always willing to eat. I appreciate how easy these are to warm up on days where he refuses anything else I’ve cooked, and the flavor and quality is consistently good. Some people may critique the existence of single serving foods like this for a food that is simple to prepare on your own, but I imagine a lot of people out there with disabilities are grateful. I did the research and at least right now, ordering these here are the best bang for you buck in terms of precooked rice. We will be ordering again for those days where I just don’t have the energy to deal with rinsing, straining, and cleaning out the pressure cooker for one serving of sticky rice. Yum!

Forgoing the great fragrance of jasmine rice is worth it when you want good rice quick and easy. This fits that bill. It's tasty, the grains are whole and separate if you follow the directions (they are for an 800-watt microwave, so adjust accordingly), and it's speedy. Don't leave it to steam in the microwave or it can get sticky and pasty. Makes a nice amount of rice for a side dish for two, a large portion for a main dish for one.

This is a really great product it’s 90 seconds to a nice large amount of rice. It’s sticky rice and it’s so easy to use nice when I come home from work and wanna have something quick I don’t have to wait for water to boil and 20 minutes for my rice to cook would recommend to anybody For the convenience

The Jasmin flavor is the best out of all of them. It tastes right. I use to get these at local supermarket, but they stopped selling it. I’m glad to find it here. It’s nice for when you need to make a quick meal. My son uses it to make fried rice when he gets hungry late at night. Typical growing kid schedule. I’m just glad this option of precooked rice is available for such occasions. I tried the wild rice flavor and that one is a no go for my household. I wish the price was a little more affordable, so I’m not going to repurchase in the future via Amazon. Maybe I will find it in local grocery store cheaper.

I discovered the Veetee steamed microwave rices in a local store and had to order more! The Thai Jasmine flavor is good, but the sticky rice is better! These rices are the perfect consistency and are so convenient. The Thai Jasmine flavor offers a woodsy aroma that will complement grilled fish and veggies. Perfectly steamed rice in just a few minutes!

I have always loved rice....raised on only Uncle Ben's. As I grew, I had to "expand my horizon" partially because sushi is not made with Uncle Bens. I am not fond of cooking rice, DO NOT like Minute Rice, and have tried all the microwave forms. I keep coming back to Vee Tee, especially when Publix had it bogo. Well, the pandemic hit on a week it was bogo and Vee Tee could not be found anywhere, so I turned to Amazon. Months later, stores started getting it back in stock, but never bogo, so I repeatedly buy it from Amazon as it is less than store shelf price. It cooks in two minutes and is a perfect two portions, so great when setting up leftovers.

I liked that it was easy to prepare and there was no cleanup. When I tasted it I much enjoyed the flavor and texture. It's a basic part of a meal yet a highlight. Package size is just right.

I buy this brand if microwaveable rice (Thai Jasmine and Thai Lime Basil) whenever I am able to either from the grocery or here on Amazon. This brand is one of the better on microwaveable rice. It tastes good and good texture. Often I find microwaveable rice is too dry or too gooey or it has a funny taste. I can honestly say this rice has not been dry or gooey and to me no after taste. It is a meal by itself or great as a side.
