First of all I have only used this on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and very little use for drawing. I originally purchased this to streamline my work and because of the many positive reviews and of course the budget price.The box is well packaged, lots of protective plastics and comes with drivers on CD, documentation, a pen holder and extra nibs. I highly recommend you purchase from a seller that will bundle a free drawing glove (will elaborate later) or purchase one separately. The pen is lightweight and battery free so there's no odd weight balance or charging issue. The buttons are sunk in which makes it feel just right in my grip to press them when I need to and not on accident. The surface of the tablet feels very good with its matte textured finish. Drawing surface is quite large at 10x6 which is almost a near ratio for my screen (more on that later). Buttons feel well made and have a click when pressed that is solid. Overall the construction quality of the pad and pen are quite impressive.I didn't bother installing drivers from the CD as they may already be outdated so I went to the XP Pen website and downloaded the drivers from there. I am using a Windows 7 machine and had no problems connecting the device to the computer. Setup for the tablet was quite easy although its trial and error with some settings to your liking if you are not accustomed to using a tablet for drawing. I set the pen buttons to just be the eraser as the opposite end of the pen has no sensor for it. The tablet buttons were more than enough for what I use in Photoshop and Lightroom. Also instead of using the entire tablet to match my 28" screen for the cursor/pen position, I set it to mouse mode as it feels more natural, just my preference. I did not mess around with the pressure sensitivity too much as I prefer to have strict control of my brush sizes through the keyboard but the tablet app has a way to test and adjust it.After using the tablet for a couple of hours, I have tweaked the buttons for what I need in Photoshop/Lightroom and hardly ever use the keyboard for any keyboard commands. The accuracy of the pen and the feel of running it across the tablet is precise and smooth. I almost don't notice if it makes any scratching noises while I'm working. The pen nib also doesn't appear worn at all and the surface of the tablet doesn't appear to have any scratches after 2 hours of continuous use. Resting my palm on the tablet caused some condensation to build up which did affect the smoothness of my hand motions but this is something that could be fixed with a drawing glove or adjusting the temperature in the room. Other than that, there were really no other issues with Photoshop/Lightroom, the tablet works just perfectly for me.However as a final word of advice: some people, like myself, may actually prefer a LCD screen style drawing tablet as I found after using this product. I will eventually purchase the XP Pen Artist 10s as that is more suited for my preference. Do some research before buying a drawing tablet, ask to borrow one from a friend and use it a bit before deciding which type is right for you.

My aunt bought amazon prime for herself, and she listed my email on her prime account, because amazon is awesome like that.The pressure sensitivity really works, and if you guide the pen above the surface of the tablet you can use the pen like a mouse. That does take a little getting used to, but it gets easier.I would totally recommend you try out this free drawing game its on windows app store , its called interference, its hilarious and great if you do not know what to draw! the people who play are not vulgar and they are very respectful, you can also play online too if you go to the website playinterference.comWe love this pen tablet so much! it was a steal for the quality of the product, we have been using it for about a month, and we already want to buy another one and buy this for every artist in our family.I hear wacom is good, and honestly i've never tried it, but i can tell you i am not disappointed i feel pretty good I found this product and everyone is so impressed by it! the pen feels great in your hand, there is no charging, it comes with pen tip replacements, which we had to replace once , because we accidently dropped the pen and lost the tip, but got a new tip installed in under a minute and we were drawing again!GET this pen tablet, you really dont need to keep looking, this is the one, it has everything. The size is large and its cheaper than a smaller wacom model.im so thankful for this xp-pen! This product does not look or feel cheap, it does not lack in performance. This is the one you need to get, if your looking for the best product and the best price. This is the pen tablet.I have no complaints, and its still working great!
