Exactly what I needed
Product was bought as used and was exactly what I thought it would be. Very solid material and locking device works great, I am using this on 4" SCH 40 PVC the only failure with the product is the screws it came with did not work well with the pipe had to adjust the placement of the screws as it was not getting a good fit the screws provided are def not made for PVC pipe but after several runs through the car wash and some rain no leaking inside of on my fly fishing rods so 5 stars

Nice but hard to install on Toyota Sienna
This review is just for the assembly and installation. The kit is easy to assemble. The components seem to be of high quality. I bought this to install on the factory cross-bars of a Toyota Sienna which is very difficult. The horseshoe brackets need trimmed down by about 2ā to clear the Sienna roof. There is barely enough clearance to tighten the bolts when installed on the roof of the van. I did as much installation on the cross-bars off the van as I could and then brought the tube assembled to the crossbars to the van. It was all quite awkward. I can see this being an easy to use kit on a truck rack.
