Great pants! Strong fabric but still flexible.
Love these pants. Used to buy the thicker Carhartts that were super stiff and took a while to break in. But once they break in they are very comfortable. These are not quite as thick as the older models, but still thicker than their other pants and with the flex fabric added, really makes these a great pant.Be warned, by accident I first bought these from a third party seller, the pants were 2" shorter than my other pants of different colors (I like to have multiple colors for each pant). I re purchased the dark coffee pant making sure it was from Amazon, and even the color is different. there were some other differences which makes me suspect that the third party seller was selling knock offs. Be careful who you buy from.

Carpenter
Husband loves these, says they're the only style that has all the right kind of pockets for him. They withstand all the abuse he puts them against in his day-to-day job as a carpenter and all the sharp and pointy tools he puts in the pockets.

Best work pants I've ever owned
Comfy, durable, just the right amount of stretch in the right places. I find it incredibly hard to find nice pants in my size, let alone work pants. But to my amazement Carhartt makes these in my size. These pants are great to work in, and I've honestly considered buying a couple pairs for outside of work. The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars was because they seem to have a tendency to shrink in the waist after washing. So I've started wearing 1 to 2 sizes up in the waist. But other than that, I do highly recommend these pants.

If you are gifted in the seat and thighs, go up 2 in the waist
I am 6’3, ~230 pounds. I am thick in the seat and the thighs, and typically have to buy “athletic” pant styles in size 36” waist, 34” length to be able to sit and walk comfortably in pants. I recommend to all my thiccc friends to go up 2” in waist. I got the 38” by 34” and found that this gave me perfect room in the seat and thighs, and the extra waist seems to compensate as the waist seems a bit shorter on these Carhartt pants compared to other brands. If you are skinnier in legs and waist, you should be OK in your normal size, but be cautious as the waistband feels a bit tighter compared to say Levis. That should take care of the sizing from the knee up, if you are worried about below the knee I found these “relaxed fit” to be great for what I wanted it for: outdoors work. If you want more room below the knee, look at the “loose fit”. For loose fit style too it seems you also should go up 2” in the waist size if you are gifted in the upper legs - a blessing and sometimes a curse, I know.

Good Fit
For those Carhartt fans, we all know the sizing can be very inconsistent from country to country who makes them. I got this pair today and they fit perfect. I received a pair of Loose Fit Carhartts yesterday and they fit a tad tigher than the relaxed fit.

Finally! A Pair of Carhartts with an inseam of 28!
I have always loved Carhartts and this is the first time in almost 20 years of wearing them that they have an inseam of 28! I hate having to take the pair with an inseam of 30 as that is all I could ever get-to get them hemmed as they are too difficult to do even for a good seamstress or tailor. These are fantastic!!!!!

My favorite pants
I've really gone to enjoy these pants they are very rugged and tough. They are loose fit as I hate tight pants. Can't go wrong with Carhartt.
