Q: Any overheating issues?

I got this as a cheap way to air up after off-roading adventures. It will take all four 32" tires from 18-32psi without overheating as long as I shut it off for a couple of minutes between tires. On a 90 degree day in Colorado I had it crap out on me when I had finished 3 tires and the 4th was only at 30psi. If I try and run it continuously and move between tires it will overheat after 2 tires. It's cheap, there are always trade–offs with cheap.

Q: is there a box? other sellers but not amazon shows a storage box

My Slime 40026 2K pump came in a hard cardboard box only and not some kind of hard plastic case or box. The cardboard is fine with me as it serves its purpose in containing all the accessories.

Q: Can you set desired psi or does the gauge need to be watched?

You have to watch the gauge, however, be aware that it is slow and will only run for 10 to 15 min before it shuts down on overheat(normal). I have six tires on my boat trailer at 80 psi the unit is useless for me. Bought a nitrogen tank at 2000 psi. tops off my tires in no time. Wish I could sell you mine. Only used twice

Q: Does the 'Slime' seal tire punctures as you inflate?

The compressor itself does not seal punctures. You would first have to remove your valve core, then inject the slime fluid into your tire. Then as you use the compressor to inflate the tire, the Slime fluid will seal the puncture.

Gets overheated too soon..!

I’ve been using this unit for almost a month now, but occasionally, mostly just for topping up air in tires. I’ve found the compressor does overheat too soon & struggles to pump in air ..!

Bought 3 of these and I am very satisfied.

I bought one of this inflator and 4 years ago someone stole it from my car. This one works well for me and has the power to fill up tire as large as 285/65/18 in a matter of minutes.It's good for emergency and works the way it should. I missed my stolen one soo much, I ended buying two of these.The built-in LED bulb isn't very bright, other than that for its price, I think this is the best inflator.

A Great Inflator

I bought this to inflate the tires on our RV as it had a 30-foot reach and looked like a fairly sturdy unit. The carry case is a great feature in which the unit and all the attachments fit nicely. It is one of the quietest inflators I've used and gets the job quickly. The inline gauge is accurate and I am very pleased with the purchase so far!
