I have used paper straws and compostable straws and I dislike their performance. I have also been trying to replace disposable items with reusable ones in my daily life. My primary driver for this is stop throwing away money. So I try to look for reasonably priced items that are also good quality and have as few downsides as possible. I have replaced most of my reusable plastic kitchenware because it all seems to degrade over time. I bought a small pack of these on a whim because they were inexpensive but also looked thick. I use them in the 32 ounce mason jars that I use as glasses and not a single one has broken even though i use them to stir the sweetener into my tea. They are wide enough that they do not slip through the holes in my countertop dish rack nor in the silverware holder of my dishwasher. It's easy to see if they are clean and being able to run them through the dishwasher in an upright position helps ensure they are even sanitized (if washed with the appropriate dishwasher settings). They are long enough to use in most any glass and they fit Arizona tea cans. Also the edges are well rounded and thick so much less painful than metal straws if you bump a lip or tooth. My first purchase was the small pack a year ago. Today I returned to buy the large pack because I like them so much. They have exceeded my expectations in every respect.

The straws are great and the brush makes it easy to clean them.

The straws are the perfect size and word well, though the straw brush that came with it is the absolute worst. It scratched the inside of the straw at the bend. I would suggest getting a better straw cleaner if you buy these. Theyre also dishwasher safe!

After trying various types of straws, these are a clear winner. Cleaning large glass straws is easy and making sure they're sterilized is so nice after struggling with plastics and stainless steel. These are bigger than I thought they'd be (remember the MickeyDs straws?) but I love them.
