Purchased to grade my recycled asphalt driveway and it works great! We live on a hill and the driveway runs a little bit with a good rain. This tool makes quick work of fixing the water trenches.

Bought it to drag my 1/4 mile packed-down dirt driveway with a 25 hp garden tractor. Easy assembly but instructions were barebones. Figured it out from looking at the picture. Took 8-10 passes to flatten out the driveway reasonably well. First tried it with one cinder block as weight. Not so good. Added a second block and I started to see a difference. I discovered that getting rid of deep potholes required many passes to make a difference, and attacking them diagonally (as opposed to straight up and down the road) did better at collapsing the walls of the pothole. So I started doing figure 8's over top the potholes from several attack directions. For serious potholes I think something with tines would do a lot better than this straight angle iron, but overall I'm pleased with the price and performance.

Tried to use it with out any weight and it didn't work well. We put one patio block on it and it ran great. Pulled easy with a 20 HP lawn tractor. I would definitely recommend it to level out gravel areas.

Bought this and modified it. Drilled eight 5/8 holes and ran galvanized machine bolts through the front L support spaced evenly. Snugged them up with washers and nuts on both sides so they hung down about an inch below front drag bar. Ran ATV with it for awhile slowly breaking up 40 year old gravel driveway full of weeds. Ran it faster once broken up and then put two tires on it for weight. Broke up 400 feet of packed gravel driveway in about 2 hours running it back and forth. Driveway much more even now with gravel spread out again, no weeds, driveway looks new and no broken welds or parts. Only modification was machine bolts to break up gravel better. Driveway gravel was 1/2 inch in size. It helps to spray weeds 2-3 weeks before to let weeds die and mow them as close as you can before dragging. With no modifications and using it to simply drag sand, dirt, or light gravel simply buy it. It took me about 45 minutes to put it together without my modifications. Only looks lightly used after the 2 hours of abuse I gave it. Happy dragging!

I received the unit with misaligned mounting holes on one of the main horizontal brackets which prevents me from completing assembly without modification. Vevor wouldn’t provide a solution as the product was ordered via Amazon. Amazon could help if I returned the item for their evaluation, but I purchased due to an immediate need and can’t wait for the process to unveil. The product is stout but the paint runs and chips on the unit at time of delivery will lead to premature failure. Very disappointed in the entire transaction and lack of support.

Shipping was fantastic, came very quickly. Material seems to be ok quality. The main reason for only 3 stars is the lack of instructions, and what little instructions (a photo only) was for a different model so it did not match up to the one I got.I would say that if the photo was better and some instructions it should have only taken 15 minutes or less to assemble, But with the miss leading instructions it probably took at least 45 minutes or so.There was no instructions for how the reinforcement bars for the middle to hold extra weight. The bars really did not fit at all. I had to bend the tabs on the end and then drill holes and find some bolts to secure the reinforcement bars.After it was assembled it worked ok for a drag. I am preparing my ground for a lawn. I rototilled the ground then tried to smooth it out. This drag is not very well designed if you have any type of debris (i.e. weed/grass) clumps it clogs up and then dumps it in piles and makes trenches in the dirt.

Reworked the back yard and brought in some dirt. Pulled with the riding lawn mower and worked great. Takes a lot of raking buy hand out of it.

I bought this drag to smooth our gravel driveway. I recently put down five yards of new gravel on an existing driveway that required some building up. I purchased three solid cider blocks from Home Depot before using it because I thought the drag would need the weight to work efficiently. I found that the drag dug in way too much and I removed one block at a time and ending up removing all three. The biggest issue I have is with not being able to lift the drag up when making a sharp turn at the ends of the driveway. I have to physically remove the drag and reposition it each time I reach the end. I am pulling the drag with a Cub Cadet lawn tractor, which is more than capable. I am still thinking of ways to easily lift, or transport, the drag with having to get off my tractor each time and physically reposition the unit. It does do a good job though leveling the gravel out and filling in the dips. All of the hardware was included and was very easy to assemble.

This thing works well for the money

Worked as advertised, I would recommend using self locking nuts or impact driver to get those nuts on really tight the drag goes through a lot of vibration while in use. But it did a great job on my driveway

Very easy to assemble, and comes with lock nuts that may not have been included before. Handles 2 standard size cement blocks if extra weight is required. Used on a gravel driveway to remove weeds and to smooth over. Did a great job pulled behind a lawn tractor.

Item is ok and does the job, but Amazon get you act together, too heavy for local Canada Post office to handle, had to drive 40km to go and get this item. Amazon please use your own delivery company for heavy items. Not very happy. Amazon do better.
