Beautiful! Lovely! Gorgeous! The tones, the shape, the rainbow effects, the feel in your hands. Everything about this cat shaped Kalimba is perfect and I love that I chose it over any others. The case it comes in is custom shaped to hold the Kalimba safely and prevent it from shifting around. It take a slight bit of effort to remove it from the padded foam so you know it’s not knocking around when it’s inside the case. The tuning hammer is just stupid cute!! I haven’t used it, haven’t needed to. If my 5yo son doesn’t pilfer it I’ll be doing good! Seriously, everyone in the house thinks it’s so cute. The weight of the acrylic Kalimba is good, too. It’s not too heavy. It actually feels really good in your hands and the balance helps with striking the keys easily. If you’re on the fence, I recommend just going for it!

This is a fine item. It came in tune. It is easy to hold and has a sweet tone. The case is very nice. This was a good purchase!

This is such a beautiful instrument. It came perfectly packaged with everything you need to keep it safe and working. The prismatic colors are outstanding and the esthetic is superb. There are several guitar hero like tutorials on the tube of you that make it so easy to learn how to play as well that I already feel like a master. I bought this so I can stop being on my phone so much as it's a horrible attachment. I'd rather be making music and art. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Really cute, sounds nice, although there is a circular crack on the back ): hard to see in the second picture but it’s there, other wise it would be 5 stars.

This kalimba sounds great compared to others, the acrylic came with scratches but they dont bother me considering how beautiful it is and the rainbow makes it less noticeable. the tines are closer together than I'd like but nothing I cant work with I absolutely love this one after having three others. The acrylic Kalimbas give more of a music box sound and the wooden ones tend to give more of a xylophone sound and are a bit easier to play, but you can still begin with an acrylic.

I know Kimi is supposedly the acrylic kalimba everyone gets, but I'm not sure I can hear a difference between how this plays vs YouTube reviews of the Kimi and other acrylic brands. To be honest I have a hunch they're all the same Kalimba just with different brands stamped on. This is my first Kalimba so don't take my word for it I guess. I bought this alongside a flatboard and while I love the resonance of the flatboard I think I'm keeping this one cuz it's SO DANG CUTE.

Such a cute-looking, beautiful-sounding kalimba!! Came packaged nicely and very protected and everything looks great that it came with. The case really looks like itll protect the kalimba from getting banged around if you travel with it. All the tines sound great and after a quick tuning any songs I played sounded really nice and well-rounded. The cat shape and the rainbow effect makes me excited to learn to play more songs on this!

I collect kalimbas. This I bought randomly just because…. I am surprised it is as good as the other kalimbas I bought. I wanted the round shape and found this. Thank you

This is yet another knock-off of the original Kimi kalimba, but who cares if it's as good as this? Not a mark or a scratch on it. Solid build, acrylic is always a fair bit heavier than wood! It has a lovely soft bell-like quality to it. And the rainbows are nothing less than magical. AND IT'S SHAPED LIKE A CAT'S HEAD! Wonderful! It comes with a good solid bodied case and all the trimmings, a better than usual tuning hammer with a stout wooden grip on it to make tuning easier. All the notes ring out and are vibrant. Even the very high tines. Putting "stabilisers" (training numbers and note stickers) does dull the sound a teensy bit, but once you've memorised all the tines, off they come. The tine numbers and notes ARE engraved on them, but with the shine of the steel, they're hard to see, hence the need for stickers. The acrylic body doesn't give a lot of volume so it's ideal for playing for yourself without the neighbours beating a path to your door! But you can add one of those cheap little stick on piezo pickups and run it through an amp. I have a Roland Microcube which would suffice if I go that route but you can buy cheap teensy little amps which give a good 5w of sound. Summary: absolutely delighted with this kalimba. It's like a very posh music box you play yourself. Definitely recommended.

J'ai hésité à l'acheter car pour un premier Kalimba, étant exigeante sur la qualité, je n'étais pas sûre qu'un Kalimba sans marque soit une bonne idée mais finalement les avis positifs et vidéos m'ont convaincu ainsi que son esthétique (rond & arc-en-ciel) et puis le fait que je voulais un Kalimba acrylique. Et je ne regrette pas du tout !!! Il est est de bonne qualité, il sonne très bien, a un très joli son, l'acrylique vibre et résonne vraiment bien, il n'y a aucune note morte, il est assez léger, tiens bien en main et il est assez petit pour que les notes de soit pas loin pour les pouces. Il est arrivé accordé. La petite sacoche de protection n'est pas extraordinaire mais a l'air d'être assez robuste et fait son taff. Bref il est vraiment super pour le prix et pour un premier achat. Le mien n'avait aucun défaut esthétique. Visuellement j'adore !!! Vraiment magnifique !! La seule chose que je pourrais (peut-être ??) lui reprocher c'est que j'ai la sensation que les notes sont un peu petites et rapprochées les unes des autres et parfois j'ai du mal avec la précision mais comme je n'ai jamais eu d'autre Kalimba pour comparer et que ça fait 2 jours que j'apprend a en jouer il y'a moyen que ça vienne de moi :') PS : j'ai peint les notes, ça n'est pas d'origine.
