Honestly it looks kind of 'cheap' and i was disappointed when it first arrived. However i have lived with this and three other pickers (which look better) after a hip replacement and i can say with certainty that this is much more useful. The light is useful and the bend in the middle makes it easier to open lower drawers for example. It also means i can put the picker in a back-pack folded so i can use both hands for crutches. The rubbery mouth is also significantly better than the harder plastics used in the other three pickers i have. ic an use it to adjust sock toes when putting them on for exampleSo whilst it looks a little cheaper than some, it is superior in operation in multiple ways.On down side, the light switch is prone to be operated whilst in my back pack and the mouth is wearing out quite quickly (probably goes with the territory of being soft and useful).Overall i think this is a much better choice than a non-bending, hard mouthed picker if it is for use after a hip, or similar, operation.

This is a really robust grabber. I did send it back, but only because I needed one that would fold smaller enough to fit in the caddy of my zimmer frame. Having recently fractured my spine I needed something to help me pick things up that I seem to continuously drop at the moment. This would have been perfect if it had folded just half an inch smaller than it did. It was definitely more robust than the three fold one I opted for instead. Good value for money and grip was good. Very easy to use too. Would be ideal for taking in a suitcase on holiday as it folds neatly to not take up too much space and is nice and light too.

This is fab. I have ms and drop everything and this is great. The length is great and it’s pretty lightweight. I’m still trying to get it to grip my phone when I drop that. I think that will come with practice. My phone falls multiple times a day so it’s fine.It does the job pretty well.

Nice, sturdy and strong. so far. This review comes with some trepedation regarding the weakest point of this grabber, the pull handle grip. Everything else is great. Very well made. Bends and locks at 2 other fixed angles. (45/90). Head twists 90 degrees as well. Light is OK but doesn't throw off much light but good enough. Strong magnet can lift most small objects easily. Now the pull handle. You would think that the most attention would be paid into making this most important part a priority of the grabber. Unfortunately it seems it was the last section on the production line to have close quality control. If this grabber breaks I guarentee it will have to do with this bit. Loose, disconnected feel and you daren't apply too much pressue on the trigger for fear of it breaking. A real shame, does not give you good confidence in holding or lifting something heavey. Also, as a trade off in strength, the grabber is short at only 30" (inches). Now I kmow why women say "it's not what you've got it's how you use it", maybe but you sure miss that couple of extra inches.

I'm a wheelchair user and bought 2 of these to help me to get things from cupboards and things that had fallen on the floor. Very pleased with the grip and ease of use but the cables inside both have snapped and one was picking up a pencil from the floor! The LED light is a good idea and the grabber would be very good if it wasn't for the internal cable...so, sadly, only 3 stars.

Terrific! Best of it's kind. It even grips the tiniest of items. Really good quality and design.

This is second one I've bought of this and initially it was quite good at picking stuff up. Even some of that was a bit heavier than light things, but this lasted a few months before it snapped at the handle.
