This is perfect for outside time with kids, especially babies that don’t run around yet when you want to keep them out of the dirt. I always have trouble folding it up correctly but I think that is user error😂

exactly as pictured. rolling it back up was a challenge, and I definitely don't know how to make it as nice as the product picture. waterproof on both sides, so if you want the top to be more comfortable I suggest layering a blanket over it. I have some dirt and grass stains on the bottom side, but nothing shows through to the front/top with the gingham design. it does have a weird smell though... somewhat fishy if you know what i mean. I haven't been able to make it go away fully, hence 4/5 stars

I bought this for my daughter who asked for a blanket to take to college to sit outside. The size is true to the description and it is definitely waterproof. It is not thin and has a bit of heft to it but that is fine. What I did not realize is that it is basically plastic on both sides. I thought one side would be waterproof and the other a 'cloth fabric' of some sort. However, it is not so she did not take it with her as she would be sticking to the plastic on warmer/hot days. Other than that, I will say that it seems to be made of quality material, well stitched, and is probably very durable. While it is not washable, a good wipedown should clean it easily. I do recommend a strap of some sort to close when finished using since it was not easy to fold back up to use the stitched on velcro. Depending on your need, it would most likely be worth the money.
