Advanced Chemistry (Advanced Science) Paperback – 8 Jun. 2000

It has lots of material and information way beyond what is needed at A level. This might be too daunting for someone just interested in getting higher grades but, for those students who have a genuine love of the subject and like to know more, this book is just wonderful.It's arranged well and beatifully illustrated throughout. It's well up-to-date and would be a valuable addition to the chemistry undergraduate's collection of support material.

Would recommend to every student taking A-level chemistry. Don't let the size fool you, this book is very easy to understand and is very effective alongside your curriculum book. Helped get me from B to A*.

I needed to take an extra Chemsitry module as part of my Biology degree to help me catch up as I'd only studied Chemistry up to GCSE level. This has helped me catch up and should be useful for anyone like me or anyone studying A level.

This has covered all the subject area required in AL and subjects are covered in two page series for easy understanding. Presentation of the subject matter is excellent and clear. It is recommended for all AL students as well as teachers.

Excellently laid out with good concise information. Questions with worked answers. Book in extremely good condition. Pity the first question I tried had a mistake in the answer but on the whole, extremely commendable.

In great condition

The kids always say this book gives too much information but it's worth the extra read! It explains everything well and really, most chapters are only 2 pages long! The only downfall is that the book is heavy but what college book isn't? I love this book and would recommend it to anyone who's taking 6th form or pre-college chemistry!

Very simplified chemistry text book

Okay for that price

I like the book a lot, for my own personal review. It's written for the UK, so some of the terms aren't our standard terminology, but it's well written, and each lesson is concise. I like it for helping to prepare my high school lectures.
