RM43 43-Percent Glyphosate Plus Weed Preventer Total Vegetation Control, 2.5-Gallon

This is yet another product where people around me can't understand why I pay $80+ a gallon for weed killer when you can just go to Home Depot and buy whatever they have there. It does the same thing right? No, not really. This stuff works the first time around, and knocks everything down to the dirt. Results don't happen overnight, but it is worth the wait as this product works into the roots of weeds and undesired plants to kill them, which eliminates them at the source. Most "store bought" weed killers don't attack the roots so they just grow back over time, usually stronger with a tolerance to whatever weed killer you just used - therefore starting a vicious cycle. RM43 also has a pre-emergent built in which will prevent new growth of weeds (or grass) for up to a year - this prevents you from having to go back and spray the same areas multiple times throughout the year. IMPORTANT: if you accidentally spray a section of your lawn or have some of this seep into it, you will not be able to plant and successfully grow new grass there right away. Be very careful using this product. It'll probably be at least a year until you can fill in those bare spots with grass. For best results I mix this at around 6/7 ounces per gallon of water, going slightly stronger for heavily overgrown areas and for our gravel driveway. I like to mix in a couple ounces of their 'fast acting' RM18 as well, which will give you visible results in about a day or two. It doesn't contain the pre-emergent, and isn't as strong, but it feels like it speeds the process up a little bit. Because of this product we maintain a weed-free 500ft gravel driveway and other common areas such as beside our in-ground pool (landscaping rock around it) and our rock covered firepit. Also around our pole barn. These areas quickly get weed infested without taking action. People comment on our lack of weeds and ask what we use, but of course are always repulsed at the price. You decide what your time is worth. For me, $80 a gallon is well spent knowing I only have to spray for weeds once, or maybe twice a year.

You don’t have to use much at all! A little goes a long way!!!! :) for the money you’re spending it is worth it!!!! We put maybe 6 cap fulls and put the rest with water in a 10 gallon jug sprayer and it worked for my huge backyard and we have a 3rd of an acre. I would honestly spray the dirt first to prevent the weeds from coming up at all :) kills the weeds fast and it keeps the weeds from coming up for a few weeks maybe even months depends on how much you spray in the spot. Works great!!!!

GREAT PRODUCT! This is the best weed killer I have ever used! It not only kills the weeds in about 7 days but it kills them down to the ground, they are just completely dead and basically dissolved. It also has worked great as a weed preventer... after 3 months I still have no weeds growing in my driveway, I was up to 4 bags of another popular brand grainules that was supposed tom last for 4 - 6 months and was having to retreat 3 to 4 time a year and still could not stop the weeds from growing. This definately my new go to replacing to different tratment types, a spray weed killer and a preveter granuals.

Works as advertised. We used this to control vegetation along a fence line where it was impossible to reach with a mower and difficult to access with string trimmers. It definitely does it’s job and as advertised.

I've used this product on my grass and weeds several times. It takes many days to see the results. But, it does work. It kills the weeds and anything else. It takes at least a week to see the results.

Works like a charm keep area almost without weed.

Good product I recommend people use it more often

This is the ONLY weed killer I will ever buy from now on. Two years ago the back half of my backyard turned into a field of poison ivy. I tried many of the "professional strength" products from the big box stores, and they did nothing. I finally found this product, diluted it as instructed and sprayed the area. After 3 weeks it had all wilted. By 6 weeks it was completely gone, and never came back. I had a pretty extreme case, so I knew not to expect fast results. If you are patient and understand that it takes time to fully work, you will not be disappointed. Also, be aware that it will kill ALL vegetation where you spray it, and it ill stay dead for months. I have also used this around buildings and along fence lines.

We sprayed this on our drive and gravel and weeds were dead in about a month and none have returned yet.
