In a positive way,an interesting way to bake chicken or meats?
I must say I bought this for a Greek chicken recipe...more of a "let's see if this works". I placed six marinated thighs on the shortest spike and after oven time was very pleased with the results. I placed it on a foil pie plate inside a roasting pan and was rewarded with very little clean-up. Worth the purchase

Worked well for me
This worked well for me, although I have only used 1x. I layered thin slices of marinated chicken breast, peppers and onions on the 12 inch prong and baked. It did not tip over, was not too heavy, and the chicken was juicy. I plan to try again with boneless chicken thighs.

Easy to use skewer
Let be that it has 2 different sized skewers together. Smaller one fits in toaster oven sized oven & holds 3-4 lbs of thin sliced meat. Easy to use & great value for the money. It was less expensive to buy it this way & place it into my own pan. The ones that came attached to a pan were more expensive. Made well from stainless steel & easy to clean.

Easy little skewer
I wanted to make some chicken schwarma and saw that there were a ton of pans that you attach the skewer in the middle, but I didn't want to buy a whole extra pan. Then I found this product, for a 1/3 of the price and I had to give it a try. I just set it inside a small baking sheet and it worked perfect. It wasn't wobbly at all, it stood perfectly upright when I pulled it in and out of the oven a bunch of times.Shown here is 4lb of pounded flat chicken thigh covered in a spiced yogurt sauce on the 12" skewer. It had enough room to add a whole onion and 1/2 and apple at the top. Just keep adding water to the bottom of the pan every 30 minutes so the juices don't burn (I made that mistake!), but I'll do better on the next round!

Well made, stable... great tool
I'm new to this stacked, marinated meat game, but already have pulled off chicken shawarma and beef gyros in the oven thanks to this simple tool.I purchased three sets, planning to use on the grill with foil pie pans for gatherings. (If the upper warming rack is removed, the 12" spikes fit at the back, where the cover slopes upward and is tall enough for the spikes to clear. Probably worth measuring yours.)Seems well made -- spike threads smoothly, stands straight and true; good weight, disassembles for easy storage, dishwasher safe. Far more stable than that skewer-through-the-onion-base trick that inevitably topples over. 😉

Very effective vertical spit.
Reasonably priced. I use it for chicken Shawarma. Base is thin and easily bent but you get what you pay for.Easy assembly with 2 spits of different lengths. Works well. Easy to use and clean. Very satisfied!

I wouldn't buy again.
This is no go for me. Appearance is cheap as soon as I took it out of the box I new it was flimsy and light weight to a fault. It was easy to use, but the material color changed and just was not for me. I returned it.
