Looks great
Got this for my 13 year old who plays clarinet. This looks way more professional than cutting a hole I to the middle of a disposable mask. Just have to make sure she washed it's every other day.

NOT a true double layer mask
These are advertised as being a double layer mask. The only part of this mask that could be considered double layered is the flap. The magnets holding the flap are weak, at best. I get why, but we expected a slightly stronger magnet. The design of the mask is fairly decent with a malleable nose piece, comfortable adjustable ear straps, and enough room for proper embouchure. The masks aren't made for talking as they move A LOT while talking and don't maintain a decent seal. The side panels to either side of the flap are a single layer of what appears to be parachute pant fabric. This is useless for stopping viral particles. A second layer of a less penetrable fabric would boost the safety of these significantly and help minimize potential exposure. No, these aren't anywhere close to N95 level protection but are slightly better than wearing nothing.

It probably helps somewhat
This obviously cannot guarantee that you or anyone else won't catch or spread an airborne disease like COVID - I mean, it has a big hole in it - but it will help to contain things a little, and demonstrates courtesy toward others. It's like using a tissue when you sneeze - you're at least trying and not being gross when around others. I think we can all agree that it's good manners to do what you can to not spew any more germs into the air than necessary.

Magnetic?
The sizing and opening are fine for me. I have a smallish face so a larger person should size up.There is no magnets (tiny or otherwise) to keep flap up while playing. Furthermore, I think the nose piece is aluminum as I tried a magnet on it and it did not stick.Otherwise, it is fine and useable for this horn player.

More tolerable than most
I use this for playing saxophone. While no product I've found so far makes it comfortable to play in a mask, this one is easier to use then others I've tried or seen.

Helpful
It could have been a little more dense but at least I felt like I had some protection when I had to play in a band and were squished side by side

Great for oboe
My daughter wanted to try this type of playing mask with her oboe as several girls had the for clarinet and she thought the style may work better than the one she had. She recently spent a whole day at an activity playing and she was very happy with the mask. It made playing easier.

It works well.
It is advertised to have magnet closure. I ordered 3 and none of them have a magnetic closure.
