I’ve had good luck with Moog suspension parts. These tie rod ends fit my 2007 Chevrolet Impala perfectly. I like that they include a grease fitting to keep the joint lubricated. Also, the OEM didn’t use a castle nut and cotter pin. The Moog part uses these components which I prefer because I know the nut will not work loose.

Moog is known for making good quality tie rod ends. I installed these on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. Installation is pretty simple and straight forward. There are plenty of videos online to walk you through how to perform the installation if you're thinking about tackling it yourself. My only complaint from the installation is that the hole for cotter pin to retain the castle nut was too far to the bottom of the threaded taper on the end of the rod. This means that there is just barely engagement between the cotter pin and castle nut. I don't anticipate this to be a problem, it's just something I'll need to check on when I have the tires off in the future. I torqued everything to specification (I think it was 22 ft-lbs + 120 degrees of rotation). I had to look this up because, while the included installation instructions did have torque specs, there were several specs for different tie rod ends and it wasn't very apparent the exact part number that I had.

This is a very good replacement for my oem tie rod end on my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. The construction seems a bit thicker. Although it did come pre greased, I will be able to properly maintain this tie rod due to the grease fitting this came with. This is an excellent value and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to do maintenance on their daily driver.

I installed these to replace the worn out factory tie rods on a 2005 Buick LaCrosse. Replacing them was easy, and I took the car for an alignment. Afterwards, the steering is tight and responsive again, with no play. Moog makes excellent steering and suspension products, and are my go-to brand.

While having new tires installed on our company car (2006 Impala), we noticed that the left front tie rod end was worn. The tire store offered to replace it for "right around $200." I smiled, told them I would get back with them, and came home to shop Amazon. $40 later . . . Moog is an excellent name brand manufacturer that you can rely on for proper fit and durability. This installs in about 20 minutes without any special tools. A straight edge and a tape measure along with some careful initial measurements kept the allignment just right. Measure before you start disassembly of the old tie rod end. Make sure the steering wheel is in the exact same orientation as when you started and measure after you install. That's all there was to it. Steering feels firm and quiet again.
