This is the best product ive ever bought for my dog. Before I had it he would pull me everywhere, now I can walk with him without being dragged everywhere. Large size fit my golden retriever perfectly. It seems very comfortable on him now that he’s used to it. It’s been about a month of having it and it’s still strong and durable. Very easy to put on.

I thought they were all the same, but this one is thick and heavy. My dog didn't like it at all. My dog walker recommended I buy the "real" gentle leader because it's lighter. I did and she still doesn't like it much, but we're getting there. Maybe your dog isn't as picky as mine and this will do. You definitely save money.

I have a German Shepard that loves to pull when he sees the park and immediately stops with this on. It's so nice he can still fetch and drink water with it on.Sadly I bought one, he chewed through it, bought another one and he chewed through it again. It does stop the pulling for sure!

I used one of these years ago and it worked well. I decided to try it on a new rescue. I measured first but it is still too big even when shortened to the max. I will attempt to shorten it myself as I got the smallest one.

Don't do it. One slightly hard pull from your dog and this thing falls apart. The nylon actually ripped and a ring came off. Complete junk

As miserable as he looks in the photo, he has gotten used to the gentle leader and doesn’t mind it anymore. The first walk he shook his head quick a bit, but your pet will get used to it, just stay consistent. Allows him enough room for panting while still giving us the control he needs when people/pets pass by. He has slipped out a few times, but I think it’s because we don’t tighten completely around the ears and we just use a connecting leash to his harness. I imagine that problem is easily solved, but he’s not a dangerous dog, so we just say, “Dinoo, that’s not good boy behavior.” And put it back on.TLDR: good buy.

I have a 85 pound GSD that loves to pull me all over! I follow GSD facebook pages and many trainers that have recommended this gentle leader. We were about to go pay to have someone help us walk without pulling when we tried this leader. UNBELIEVEABLE results immediately! He now walks by my side and i have complete control. Now i will say he does not like wearing it and it takes some getting used to wearing around his nose, but totally worth it!!!
