Staedtler Micro Mars Carbon Mechanical Pencil Leads, 0.5 mm, B, 60 mm x 12 (250 05 B)

I When it comes to pens and pencils my choice is always Staedtler product. I used up my pencil leads and had to have only Staedtler because their product means quality. Leads are smooth but strong. Writing or drawing it can do it all without any flaws. Recommend!

Came as described. Nice dark lead without too much smear. Compared to Pilot Neox Graphite 2B, and this lead smeared less with same dark character.

Just what I was looking for.

Wonderful leads. Just one problem! The leads slip thru the mechanical pencils I own... a couple pentel, and a couple Zebra. I ordered the Mars Staedtler but it was out for delivery... 6 times... and went back to warehouse. So I cancled the order. I will eventually order the Staedtler Mars pencil.

I like to take a pencil and pad out with me and sketch areas that grab my eye. I could just take a camera but I find by drawing the scene I notice more details. The beauty of a propelling pencil is that your not constantly having to keep sharpening the nib and a 2B 0.5mm allows some fine details to be drawn. I don't profess to be nowhere near a professional artist but it's an art I like to partake in and these leads' fulfill my needs with an excellent quality and service provider.
