I have had this system for a couple weeks now and it works very well. It was a little difficult to set up as others have mentioned but once you understand it, its actually very simple and makes sense. Their tech support and customer service is very responsive and helpful. I travel alot and not near my phone all the time so I asked if they could email me vs calling me back to trouble shoot and within a couple of hours I had the answers I needed to get up and running. Highly recommend!

I followed all instructions trying to connect the device via wifi, but nothing worked, I called the 1888 number they have on their website for tech support, but these guys have no idea how the Zemgo device works, the person who answered the phone told me that a person from the manufactured company will contact me in about 2 hours, today is Friday and I'm still waiting for them to call me back, from 3 days ago. I'm giving 2 starts because the device turned on and the app opened up, but that was it.

This is a great solution for home/business owners who want a mag lock that can be controlled with an app. Wireless setup isn’t super straightforward but not horrible. The issue arrises when you want to add more than one door in wiegand in one building using only their app.I have a customer who wanted two mag lock doors that she could unlock with the app or with keypads. She also wanted to be able to give give keypad codes to her employees. Unfortunately when they say this device can work with other access control panels, they basically mean it turns into a wifi exit button. There’s no way to control 2 wiegand keypad readers from their app with just one zemgo system.So, no problem, I’ll just buy 2 zemgo systems and merge them into one building… they had to have planned for that right? Wrong. I had to give my customers a solution in which each door of their office acts as 2 different locations, with no way to copy over users, which is very obnoxious.There could also be many quality of life changes such as the ability to add a temporary code that would expire after a set amount of time. The app is also not visually appealing or very intuitive in general imo. However, it gets the job done.The customer service was responsive but they only had one basic tech (shout out Diego) who was great for basic questions. However, for my slightly more advanced issues he had to communicate with his supervisor for anything more advanced which made my issue take several days to resolve… and it wasn’t really resolved… it basically was me bug testing their app and being told what I wanted wasn’t possible.TLDR a product with a lot of potential that is great for one basic maglock door in wiegand or a glorified wifi exit button. Anything above those use cases gets a bit messy.
