Great blade, your tractor is the limiting force
For the blade itself it is great. Most problems folks would have with this relate more to the limiting force of the machine it is attached to. The installation is pretty clear, I did not need the video instructions but I am very handy. It took about 30 minutes to install not counting "get warm" breaks. The hand controls for this are about the best they could be for manual operation. This is not a high dollar full function hydraulic unit so it does not have a joy stick. I doubled checked the pre-assembled pivot mechanism and it all looked secure (I heard this was loose and caused damage to some units). I live outside Boston and we get some good snow. I have a Husky YTH24V48 24 HP bought in 2014. There were clear instructions for this model and other style frames also. There was ample hardware to mount to mine and other unused stuff for other frame styles. The lift and lower is flawless, the pivot action requires a little effort and cable tension adjustment but works well. I have had 3" of wet stuff, 4" of fluff and 8" of fluff so far. It is likely that you will need chains for the tires unless you have a nice flat driveway. Mine is a little inclined so it is tough to push the wet stuff or deeper fluffy stuff. My first full pass is always uphill which is tough for this type of machine (hence the need for chains) but after that I only do 1/3 pass uphill and 2/3 pass back down the drive way. I did not remove the mower deck (wanted the extra weight) but I will because it does drag in the adjacent snow drift and limit how close I can get to edges when the blade is pivoted left/right. I will rig up some way to add weight in place of the mower deck. Push your snow piles as far as possible early on in the season cause you will get more and these tractors do not have enough power/weight to push a lot of snow.

A time and back saver.
Works good for light snow, anything over lets say 6 inches, is overload and you're going to break something. All the parts were there to install and I didnt have to modify anything. I was missing a couple of bolts, but I might have misplaced them myself. Well designed, well built. It saved me time and effort this winter, but don't forget tire chains.

A must have accessory for your Husqvarna Mower
An amazing accessory to my Ride On Mower. Efficient and good built product for the paved Driveway snow ploughing. Installation is bit tedious, designer could have made it more simple but that is not a complicated issue. With little effort you can install on your Hasqvarna Lawn mower my model LGT48DXL 27 HP perfectly. I have 1200’ of Drive down the hill! And half paved and half rough! But the plough blade does a perfect job of clearing the dry snow upto 7 or 8” quickly without any difficulty. Wet snow of 6” offers bit difficulty but that is not defect of Snow plough. Since I hv a luxury model of Lawn mower, clearing the dry snow while climbing up the road is also done efficiently. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to more accessories for farming from this company! If your Lawnmower has powerful Kohler engine and HP rating is say 25 and above snow ploughing is very easy with this blade!

Does not fit all MTD made mowers.
Had to do some fabrication. I thought this might fit my 10 year old Cub. The main support bracket is one inch wider than my Cubs frame. The holes didn't line up so I had to heat the bracket and do some bending and drill a couple new holes. The main reason I bought this plow was the reviews. Seems to be heavy duty and it will work good. Very fast shipping arrived three days early.

Perfect addition to our new Husqvarna tractor
My husband really likes this plow. It works for light snowfall and cleaning up areas missed by the contracted snow plow our landlord hired. It’s not ideal for really heavy lake effect snow or snow that has hardened due to melting or freezing rain, as the blade starts to bend. We have gotten plenty of that this winter in Michigan. He says he’s going to see if he can rig it up so it doesn’t bend over when plowing. Overall he’s happy with our purchase. The biggest disappointment was the packaging. This blade weighs a bit, but was shipped in a standard cardboard box without reinforcements and regular clear packing tape securing the box closed. Upon delivery, the delivery driver went to pick it up to bring to my house and the box literally fell to pieces causing parts to be strewn throughout the truck. The FedEx driver was AMAZING and told me what happened, asked me if I wanted it sent back and reordered. I went out to the truck with him and inspected it, it looked fine, so him and I both had to unload it as it was now very awkward to move with the box completely obliterated. The delivery driver was so embarrassed that this happened and was very apologetic. He was ever so grateful for me helping him unload it and that I wasn’t upset with him. It wasn’t his fault it was poorly packaged.
