Brought this mouse for my sons birthday. He has used it for over 6 months without any issues. It’s mainly used for gaming and school work (roughly 2 hours a day). Packaging: Item arrived in undamaged inside Amazon standard packaging. Corsair always seems to package their products tastefully without going over the top. The packaging gave the unboxing experience a premium feel. Everything was well laid out but with minimal excess packaging. Everything you need is in the box. First impressions and general review: My son was over the moon with this mouse. It replaced a cheap and nasty gaming mouse. The fit is quite versatile. Feels quite solid but lightweight. Buttons feel positive and precise. Sensor is also very precise. Cable is excellent! Durable yet supple feel to it. The usb connection is of good quality. The Corsair software is pretty good and user friendly if you like to fettle. Out of the box, plug and play settings are fine though. PROS: • Overall the styling looks great. • Great overall value (I’d say one of the best, if not the best in this price range) • Feels quite durable even after 6 months of fairly heavy usage. • Overall premium feel to this mouse is nice. CONS: None to note. Summary: If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive but quality mouse then this is for you. It makes an excellent gift for anyone that uses a PC (not just gamers). I don’t mind a wired mouse but this is obviously not wireless. If you are looking for a good quality wireless then you should expect to pay quite a bit more. Would I recommend this product to friends and family: Absolutely.

Well what I can see for this mouse - it's just an excellent product. I've have had many gaming mice before and I am very picky due to my small hands and used to a casual shapes rather than ergonomics ones. The best so far was Logitech G203 and bought Katar Pro out of curiosity and the good promotional price of £18. As soon as I opened the mouse I released the shape and the weight is similar to G203 and will be something I would like. I play CSGO a lot so I tested the mouse straight away. Easy to set up - just plug and play. The ICUE software found the mouse in a second and I was able to light link it with all my other Corsair gaming RGB components. The accuracy is very good, fits very well in my small hands and I was impressed by the easy you operate with the mouse due to the very light weight. There are no Cons in my opinion and if you are struggling to find a good price mouse of decent quality for FPS games don't look further, this is the mouse you just at least want to try. Excellent job by Corsair and very good price for such a awesome product. 5 starts from me!

I bought this in a Black Friday sale for about £20. Previously I'd used a Cooler Master MS110 and wanted to upgrade as I found that mouse too heavy for rapid FPS games and also wanted a mouse with fully customisable dpi. The Corsair Katar Pro is lighter, comes with preset dpi but this can be customised in download able software from the manufacturer. It's lightweight, has flex cable. If you want blinged up Blackpool Illustrations rgb though I'd look elsewhere as only the scroll wheel has rgb and that's mainly to help you with selecting from the dpi options. The side buttons are slightly squashy, there isn't a satisfying click that I got with the Cooler Master mouse or the Logitech G203 which is broadly in the same price bracket as the Katar Pro. This is a good product, feels robust and delivers good performance at a low cost. Recommended if its on discount as there are probably better products out there for its normal £40-45 RRP.

It's been 2.5 years of normal use (browsing, occasional gaming), and it's as good as it was when I first bought it. Simple, light, durable, high quality. Can't complain I like how the cable is very flexible and it doesn't really come in the way like how it does with other mice. The two simple side buttons are nice for extra functionality

Review after 3 years of light use (not primary): ok, light, works well but will begin to squeek and you may have to chuck it. The good is that it is light, works well, tracks, dpi adjustment is good and even the led light is pleasant. You don't need any software to use it, if you happen to have it for other Corsair stuff ok but not needed. Used to be cheap. The bad is that it is far too expensive now unless on sale and there are better mice at that price-point even from Corsair. Won't be good for big hands, it us really tiny. Cable is thick and Usb connector also, at least you won't be damaging them. But on a laptop could be annoying. Biggest issue is that after a while the wheel will start to squeek and no amount of cleaning will fix. Opening up is not easy and you may not be able to fix it. Depending on how annoying you could even decide to junk it. So if this is for a child/teen, ok but for an adult I'd say get something else e.g. Harpoon that is even cheaper.

The Mouse is more than sufficient for my needs. Comfortable to use. Not too bothered about the RGB feature, so it is just set to default. Did try to use the Icue software to control the RGB etc, however when the software was installed, I seemed to have a number of crashes within Windows, so removed and no problems since. So the mouse is great, the Icue software for me caused problems, however it is not a big issue if you are happy with the default RGB on the mouse

Had this mouse for a year now. The scrolling is quite noisy and you have to press way too hard to click on it. I also notice that the sensitivity is a bit all over the place so can't recommend it if its going to break apart like this in no time.

Yeah love this mouse. Bought a deathadder before this and I like this more.

Plus axée sur une prise en main de type "claw", cette souris reste confortable et possède une bonne glisse. Son poids me convient très bien. Bémol, le logiciel Corsair pas obligatoire mais nécessaire pour reprogrammer les touches.

Ich habe die CORSAIR KATAR PRO WIRELESS zunächst für mich selbst gekauft, aber letztlich meiner Gastschwester übergeben. Die Einrichtung war total unkompliziert und schnell erledigt – einfach anstecken und loslegen, ohne komplizierte Software oder Einstellungen. Die Maus bietet für ihren Preis eine völlig ausreichende Leistung. Die 10.000 DPI sorgen für präzise Bewegungen, und die kabellose Verbindung funktioniert einwandfrei. Natürlich merkt man, dass sie leichter ist als höherpreisige Modelle, aber das stört mich nicht. Für jemanden, der nicht unbedingt die allerhöchsten Anforderungen an eine Gaming-Maus hat, ist sie perfekt geeignet. Die Ultraleichtbauweise ist besonders angenehm und erleichtert das Handling. Insgesamt ist die CORSAIR KATAR PRO WIRELESS eine exzellente Budget-Maus für Einsteiger oder für alle, die einfach eine zuverlässige Maus suchen, ohne viel Geld auszugeben. Für den Preis ist sie absolut empfehlenswert!

Es pequeño y ligero,perfecto para FPS rápidos de agarre de dedos. Esta muy bien construido, no suena nada. Se nota muy sólido. Es muy cómodo se adapta perfectamente a la mano aunque juegues durante horas. Es lo suficientemente pequeño para moverlo muy rápido,pero lo suficientemente grande para poder agarrarlo con seguridad sin que parezca que se te va resbalar. El cable es imperceptible,parece inalámbrico. No ofrece ninguna resistencia. Tanto los botones laterales como el de DPI ofrecen una pulsación muy agradable y con buen recorrido. La rueda es sólida y con un desplazamiento marcado pero suave. De muy buena calidad. Al probarlo en juegos como Quake Champions o Doom Eternal ( muy frenéticos con el ratón) el sensor es muy preciso,no hace movimientos extraños ni parásitos. Nada de aceleración,se nota muy exacto en todos los movimientos sean a la velocidad que sean. El software es una maravilla, completamente configurable,todos los botones y funciones,como siempre en Corsair. Teniendo en cuenta su precio,me parece la compra del siglo. Más que recomendable,aunque valiera 50€ seguiría siendo una compra excelente.
