Cost and performance .
I guess I had hope it would go further. The spalted and porous wood sure sucked it up! Next time smaller project = less juice! Very good saturation, bowl plank is very dense and heavy. Lots of fine dust while turning, nature of the wood once stabilized I guess! Wish C J was a bit less expensive! Good product otherwise, performs as advertised.

Easy to use and great results with dyes
I use cactus juice to stabilize wood for knife handles. Works great. Depending on the wood density and spalting, you can use Aluminite dyes with the cactus juice and great some great results. I really enjoy adding multiple colors one at a time to get some great color separation and blending. Probably the best part of knife making is creating the handles

Game changer
I was told this was a good product by a fellow knife maker and he was right. The pictures above is my first attempt. It's very easy to use you will need a vacuum chamber and vacuum pump. It comes with very easy to understand instructions. After wood is treated I sanded to 400grit and then polished. I have a feeling if you go to a higher grit like 1000 it would probably be a glassy finish. If you are a knife maker or do any wood projects. This is a game changer for your products.

Really Works
Although expensive, it’s the best product by far. You need to be able to have the means to cure it at 200 degrees though and for me that’s my oven which is not my first choice.
