438-Piece Mechanics Tool Set with 3-Drawer Heavy Duty Metal Box Repair Tool Kit

Looks pretty good when I first opened it up and checked everything, plenty of 6 and 12 point sockets, no deep well sockets though if thats what youre looking for. For this price I expected the quality to lack but so far they all seem pretty good condition, ratchets turn smooth, nothing FEELS cheap. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but just going over it initially everything looks solid. Will update as my opinion on it changes, either good or bad. Update 1: I just took apart the ratchets and they are bone dry, no grease or oil lubricants. Not going to hold this against the manufacturer, silver lining is they're easy to take apart, just 3 screws that can be taken out with the included bits. Recommend you open them up and lubricate before doing any work with them though.

The drawers catch the inside of the box when being pulled out, makong a cheap feel. But the inserts and tool quality overall for the price makes this a great basic set for a vacation home or someone who doesn't require a professional grade set at home.

Seems like a good set but I was missing the 4” Dr. Extension for the ratchet

Nice cheap set to through in the back of your pickup truck and have something for emergency

Came dented but the tools look good

Love this tool kit. It gets so much use and even friends who have used tools from it have complemented it. I have a Husky set that has broken faster than these and this is now my main tool set. The foam insert was the biggest seller for me.

nice kit for the price

I got this tool chest for my husband for Christmas to replace an old plastic one he has had for years. My primary wish was for a sturdy metal tool box; I'm not really qualified to review the tools themselves. The toolbox itself seems like a nice metal but it came dented. As others have said the tools came all scattered about. This would have been fine except one of the tools fell behind the drawers- and the drawers cannot be removed entirely from the chest. In order to retrieve a tool that falls behind the drawers you must empty everything out and shake the box upside down until you shake the tool loose. NOT ideal. Speaking of the drawers, they slide open and closed very smoothly but there is no catch to keep them from sliding open. I lifted the entire tool chest to place it in a box for wrapping and all three drawers flew out at me. They need to add something to keep drawers closed. Overall I'm extremely unsatisfied with this tool chest. I'll report back after Christmas with my husband's opinion and we may return it. Update : we did return this product. My husband agrees that it is clunky and too heavy, and the drawers are too frustrating. The return process was very easy.
