Children are learning and playing well
My boys love this fishing alphabet/number/color set! They are learning and playing well, the fishing rod has a nice study magnet and seems well placed. No incidents with my three boys who have used from the age one to the age of five.

There is no way to keep wood fish in place. No cover.

Multipurpose
Great toy and can be used for multi purposes. My son is special needs so not only do I use it for him to match the letters into the correct spot on the board. I also put the pieces in front of him and have him hand me the correct piece that I ask for. He has not yet used the magnetic piece to it, but that is not an issue.
