Spigen Ultra Hybrid Back Cover Case Compatible with iPhone 12 mini (TPU + Poly Carbonate | Crystal Clear)

Please find my initial impressions:1. Case is very good in terms of looks2. Case is sturdy enough to save the phone from shocks3. Believe me, case is not worth for more than 600-700 bucks.But it’s price is too high(near about 1500 bucks)4. Case back may get scratches as it’s transparent

This transparent case is somewhat thin, not superthin but looks premium. Protection is great, I have been using iphone 12 mini for the past 4 months and have dropped my phone quite a few times. Not even a mark on the phone. I am also using spigen screenguard for my phone and recommend the same product for best safety of your phone.

I’ve started doubting spigen case ratings on Amazon after trying two different cases from them. Earlier one turned yellow within two months. And this one arrived with one side of the case not fitting properly, and also made the little iPhone 12 mini look a way more bulkier, totally ruining the beauty. Had to return it.

The first case was received looked like a used one. It looked yellowish and there wasn’t any protective films in the case as it should be. I felt cheated, but I exchanged the case with a new one and then I found the new case to be superb.The case is clear, sturdy and fits in the phone perfectlyMost importantly, the edges of the case are chamfered which makes the phone comfortable to hold, which is otherwise uncomfortable to hold since the iPhone 12 edges are sharp.

Protects the phone and is an excellent product like all of the Spivey line . Doesn’t lose its transparency and discolouration doesn’t occur on the sides for a long time .One of the top cases for iPhone 12 mini in the world .

Would’ve been great had I received a scratch free cover. It looks very old as if it has been used a couple of times. Though I wanted a cover immediately so I had to keep it. But I would recommend if you do buy, make sure to inspect it thoroughly before applying.

Go for it without second thought. I have been using Spigen back cover for years now. It really protects the phone from damages. Covers last like forever if maintained properly. This one is again a great buy. Fits the phone perfectly and kinda seals the ages so that dusts do not enter inside. Great buy and total value for money.

The material is so good, but it makes the iPhone look bulkier. Thick walls and projections at all corners on the backside suppresses the sleek design of iPhone which is a special feature of model 12.

The ultra hybrid case does not support magsafe, but qi charging is supported and overall, this is a fantastic case. The design is good and it gives fantastic protection for your phone. The buttons are still easy to push and there's a good sized cutout for the silent button.It's clear design also means you can see your colourful iPhone 12 (or in my case, the 12 mini).It really could be the perfect iPhone case, but Spigen have made the bizarre decision to add a ton of writing to the case.* Bottom-left of the case (SIM card tray) displays "Spigen"* Top-left of case displays "Air Cushion Technology_* Bottom-right of case says "Spigen Inc in Irvine California Made in South Korea 15.4'0 UH #7"What were they thinking? I don't mind having one little logo or the name of the case company, but why are they displaying paragprahs on a clear case.It kind of ruins what is otherwise a fantastic case.

This is a really good case. I've used Spigen's cases for a while now on various phones. The ultra hybrid has always been my case of choice as I like seeing my phone through it, and in my experience it has always been quite protective. I used a tech21 case on my last iPhone, but I have used Spigen's on 6+ and 7+ models, and they've all survived their fair share of dropping.However, a couple of things make this case a lot harder to recommend than before. Firstly, Spigen still haven't toned down their excessive writing on the case. 'AIR CUSHION TECHNOLOGY' is labelled on the top, and all the buttons have labels 'PWR' etc. on them, which is a bit distracting and naff. There is also a label down the side with brand/manufacturing details. My case rocks slightly on the table, so it must be uneven in some sense, as the camera bump is fully covered.The dealbreaker here for many will be the problems experienced with MagSafe. I expected it to work flawlessly, given it is quite a thin case, but I think it is misleading for the case to be advertised as MagSafe compatible in the product images. The MagSafe puck doesn't make a decent connection with the back of the phone so can come off very easily when using it. One of the key benefits of MagSafe is the ability to rotate the puck around the back whilst using the phone, depending on what orientation you use it in. However, the puck comes off really easily whenever I do this. In comparison, using the phone without the case is really good and much, much stronger. There is still some magnetic hold, so you are unlikely to miss the charger, like with other wireless chargers, but it is weak.In conclusion, this is a decently protective, fairly minimal case. If you don't care about the branding and don't plan on using MagSafe, it is a good buy for the price, from a reliable brand. But if either of these things bother you, I would look elsewhere.

I’ve been using spigen clear cases for many years and they’re My favourite as they’re perfect protection - tried and tested - I’ve never broken a phone in almost a decade of using a spigen clear of this type - has the bezel lip to protect the screen and no need for a screen protectorBUT the only flaw is that this starts to turn yellow in a few weeks and gradually yellows to a sickly hue.

The Spigen product is an excellent value for money case for the iPhone 12 mini.It is clear and it shows off the full design of the Apple product.The case also fits right around the phone, including along the bottom, something some of the much more expensive Apple versions don’t do, and it protects all its features as well.I think it is comfortable to hold, is not slippy, and does not add much weight to the very light device. It also feels quite sturdy if the phone was dropped. However, I did not test this, for obvious reasons!Although, when I tried it with the Apple MagSafe Wallet, the wallet easily fell off. So, in my opinion they are not compatible. Therefore, that is the reason why the product has lost a star in my review. Otherwise, I would have given it full marks (five out of five).My phone does charge using my wireless charger when the case is on it though. The charger I used was a Belkin 10W Wireless Charging Pad. There have been no problems with the phone not charging.There has been some talk in other reviews about the branding around the case being over the top. It does have branding on its sides, but I don’t think it is excessive. The branding only stands out if you look closely at the sides of the case.This product is perfect for those people looking for a basic, reasonably priced, case, but if they want to use MagSafe products, they should look elsewhere and will probably have to spend more money.
